Outdoor service is limited to guests in groups of six or two households (no limit on number) is permitted. Please note we may need to vary our opening hours given the time of year and the unpredictable nature of our Great British weather! Track and trace requirements have changed meaning all customers over 16 years of age must check in and provide their contact details. Unfortunately we must refuse service if customers do not comply. Staff very helpful and friendly. The meals are amazing. I had large Yorkie pud with beef and chips,my wife had cottage pie and chips and my step son had large yorkie pud with sausages. Very highly recommended. Date of visit 30th October 2021.

Had a nice lunch here on my birthday meal was very good can't comment on the beer because I was driving,we will be back for another visit very soon, the wife can drive this time.

I was trying to decide what to have for tea on Sunday and then remembered how lovely the roast dinners are from The Talbot. I called at 4:15pm and was delighted when they said they could fit me in for a delivery at 5:45pm. The staff are so helpful and friendly, they're always so cheerful when they answer the phone.The food arrived on time and was lovely, there was plenty of lamb, boiled potatoes and roast potatoes, and the veg was absolutely delicious, carrots, green beans and broccoli. All finished off with lashings of gravy and an enormous crispy Yorkshire!!
