Very friendly, great food and ale, great service. Family friendly and welcoming to well behaved dogs. Great location - what's not to like?

Lovely place, great selection of beer and lager...BUT they close at 10pm on a Saturday...come on Vale open later

An absolute diamond find. Lovely friendly warm welcome. Wonderful varied selection of extremely well kept beer. Didnt try the food but looked well presented & smelt delicious

Excellent. Good food, great beers, friendly staff made for a very enjoyable lunch.

Perfect spot for a good pint after a good walk with a roaring fire too

On narrowboat and found this gem, had a fabulous Sunday lunch, but wanted to try everything on menu it looked so scrumptious. Staff attentive and friendly. This is a must visit place if in area. Bollington ale perfect. Can't rate highly enough.

We went after the Bollington Brewery tour. Had really nice pie, chips and peas washed down with a couple of pints of Long Hop and Bollington Best beer. Really recommended!

A fab little pub in the centre of the village. There's plenty of parking out the back, with a large seating area overlooking the cricket club. You have to walk a few yards down the main street to get to the pub, but it's no real hassle. If you're lucky, like we were, there may be a cricket match on. The staff were fantastic - so friendly and nothing too much trouble. A real credit to the place. We ordered a pie and (from the specials) a lasagne. Both were excellent. I wish I could give this place 4.5 stars rather than just 4. We will definitely return.

Lots of beers available, brewed by the Vale themselves. IPAs, milk stout, etcNice menu with veggie and veganDog friendlySmall car park and area out back.

Really lovely country style pub. Warming real fire. Dog friendly. Food - I had the Sunday roast with beef, which was very nice. Yorkshire puds and gravy were delicious, beef not the best quality but for the price it’s definitely not complaint worthy. Burger was good. Drinks - I started with the 3mini beers and thought they were a little flat so then had the Czech lager which i didn’t think much of, so stuck with the safer Heineken.
