Perfect for beer drinkers who prefer a relaxing quiet local pub, with friendly staff, no music, no phones, no slot machines, but wonderful beer at a good price. This pub is a model of zero stress.

Wonderfully friendly, brilliant food, good price, traditional pub. We were made to feel very welcome as 4 adults and 1 child. Would definitely recommend.

Great local pub, very friendly and lovely home cooked food

Friendly staff, delicious beer at a good price, lovely beer garden - ideal on a warm, sunny day. Phones etc are banned which I support as it encourages conversation. Good old fashioned pub, beware - cash only but I'm not complaining.

My wife and I decided to pay a visit and after overhearing a customer commenting on the fish and chips, we decided to partake. The beer battered fish was delectable! Really fresh fish and really tasty batter. Probably the best fish and chips I've had in a very long time! Very reasonably priced too! The staff work very hard but will accommodate all customers and there's no "rushed" feeling. They are so professional, friendly and courteous and they're a true asset to this pub! Overall, food delicious, staff amazing and beer very nice. This gets 100% 5 🌟 from us.

My favourite pub in the region. Food and drinks are excellent and very reasonably priced. Staff are also very friendly. We sometimes bring our little dog who is also made very welcome. I like the old fashioned real Pub feel. Wish the Pub was in walking distance so I could have a proper session.
