Friendly staff, very nice food

The food turned up luke warm and the order was incorrect/ had things missing at which point they said that was incorrect and were quite rude. My main dish was very watery and tasteless. Overall very disappointing experience.

I wasn't really a fan. The food is only OK and lacks the otherwise fragrant meals. It's neither good nor bad. The friendly staff forgot a few things we ordered which was another disappointment.

Awesome and extremely tasty Indian Street food, 4 of us ate from the thali menu and were stuffed! It was all delicious!

Food is fine. Nothing too extraordinary, nothing to write home about, but not bad either. Freshness is ok, they probably cook it in advance and reheat. However, the prices are very high, just as others have said. I had a plate of curry with a side of veggies and a beer, and left 33.00 pounds for this meal. Really?? This was not a fancy meal, just a basic dinner. Restaurant setting is basic but inviting enough. All in all I cant justify paying that much for a simple dinner. I will have to think twice before going back.

Finally, authentic Indian food outside of Manchester. Great staff and Indian music. I have spent a good amount of time travelling around India. The food here is both excellent and authentic - it's great to see a restaurant with courage providing a genuine Indian experience and not altering great food to cater to western tastes. I'd like to see more of it. Keep it up!

Always liked this as an Indian restaurant throughout its recent name changes over the past few years. Its new street food style takes a lot to get used to but thankfully the staff are more than willing to serve you the traditional dishes they served before (as long as you can remember the name). What I am shocked about is that previously eating here was a reasonably cheap night out. However, the prices seem to have shot up since the latest face lift. For example, a meal for two adults and a child ended up costing ÂŁ90. Ouch...Not so cheap any more, which is a shame for such a nice place. Perhaps it's a not so regular place to go to...

Love the new management and the new look to the lounge area of this Resturant. We were a group of 5 visiting and decided to visit the only Indian Resturant in the village. On first impression, warm and inviting. We were seated straight away.We started with popadoms, nice and fresh. We had a started dish, chicken pakora, king prawn Puri. Lolly pop chicken. All dishes with their own unique flavours. We then ordered, mix grill platter, fish masala and a veg Dosa.Have to say the Dosa was something different for us but non the less, full of fresh ingredients and flavours. The mix grill was as expected with nice selection of meat and a nicely layer of onions complimenting the grilled meat flavours. The fish masala was excellent in deep spices but subtle hint of heat.We also had peshwari naan, this really was nice and sweet. Our overall impression was warm, Well-coming and defo to return for an Indian food full of flavours.Sorry forks, but I don’t think I’ve used the word “flavour” enough. Not been to a nice Indian Resturant for a while and this Resturant has definitely lift the bar in this sector. Thanks everyone at this new Restuant and thanks Bill for your service tonight.Hope to see you soon when I am back in town for a visit.
