TJS Fish & Chips in Cheshire East

I didn’t have much expectations for the fish and chips in the area as the last time I had it in England, it was just okay.I grabbed the haddock and chips which were made fresh. The fish was seasoned with salt and vinegar (no tartar sauce) and I enjoyed it a lot. The portion size was also generous.Unfortunate, I didn’t get to try it fresh (I had a ten minute walk before I got to eat) but I would definitely come back and hopefully try it fresh.

Owner was very friendly and good banter. Food is great nothing special don’t expect Gourmet but for a fish and chip shop it is just what you want a chip shop to be.Best place for food near to the Crewe ground

Nice friendly people. It is good you can eat in the shop. Very well situated near train station. Very good price and quality. Will go there every time I have to wait for a train.

Really friendly owner, 2 mins from Crewe station. Fish and chips fresh and delicious. If you have time between trains go and visit. Absolutely delicious and warming on a cold Monday evening.

Excellent fish, excellent chips, excellent service, short wait time. A great place to drop in on if you're stuck waiting for a rail connection at Crewe and haven't had lunch yet.

Excellent food, excellent service, excellent quality. Food is cooked fresh to order, is tasty and wait time is minimal. Would highly recommend.

I had today’s special which was fries topped with meat and gravy. Fries was’t great. It tasted okay considering the price was low but it wasn’t anything unique. The staff were nice.
