The goat curry is magnificent and the chips I had with it were proper, not frozen, chips.The mainstream beer is good. The real ales, I don't think they get enough turn over on; they sometimes don't taste fresh.Staff are brilliant, asking all the right questions at the right time and all really nice.A great pub, well worth a visit.

Great pub, lovely food and friendly staff. Steak and ale pie was fantastic.

Lovely atmosphere and fantastic food. Can't fault the staff and their quality service! Definitely worth popping in if you ever fancy a decent meal or quick drink.

Only popped in for some lunch but had one of the best home cooked food ive ever had... Never been in before but will definitely go back

Stopped in here for lunch. Great food and a nice atmosphere. The bar staff were really helpful with ensuring my husband's allergy was accounted for offering suggestions for alternatives if needed. Would definitely recommend

We didn't end up eating here as the only table available was too small for 3 people to eat at. Dogs are only allowed in the bar area which is quite small (not their fault but we didn't realise this). Looked nice inside if you don't have a dog?

Great pub. Fantastic real ales such as Salopian Shropshire Gold, Wye Valley HPA. Staff and locals are really friendly. Food is well priced and freshly cooked Give it a go, you can't go wrong.

The staff are run off their feet but are still very friendly and the food was excellent well worth a visit and you can see by the empty plates excellent

Friendly staff very welcoming. The food was lovely forgot to take a photo at start but all the plates were cleared. Has a selection of cask ales with plenty of other alcohols available. I would defiantly recommend if you ever in Nantwich.
