Yara Restaurant in Cheshire East

Lovely restaurant, the food is delicious. The wait staff are wonderful and very attentive, food arrived in great time - the waiter Zain went above and beyond to make our experience a good one, he even ordered our taxi for us which arrived super speedy! Would 10/10 recommend:)

Lovely authentic food, decent service. The hummus was the smoothest I've ever had and absolutely delicious.I saw someone else's comment about UHT milk portions with coffee and agree - ordinary milk in a small jug would be better.

Not been here since the 1st Lockdown still Fantastic food and service and would like to say what a great Waiter we had who was called ZAIN he is such a nice guy and so helpful and a great asset to the Yara at Alderley Edge and we will be back soon.Aidan &Cheryl

Tasty food. BoB allowed. Good for groups. Nice service. No dedicated parking. But, not hard to find one near by. Prime location in Alderley Edge. 👍

Food was OK. Well priced. Not amazing, we got a bit of everything to try, notothing really stood out. Probably will not return but worth a try.

I was having a meal at the Alderley Edge restaurant on Sunday Nov.7th which was my family treat to celebrate my 80th birthday on Tuesday Nov.9th. I have never felt so important, the staff were really attentive , the food was delicious and to top it off Irfan ( I think that was his name) dimmed the lights, played "happy birthday " music and brought me a delicious portion of Honey and Almond cake, enough for the four of us with a candle on it , courtesy of the management. What a lovely gesture! Top Class !!

Ive dined in at Yara's about a year ago. The food was excellent and the service was good too. Today me and the wife thought we would treat ourselves to a takeaway (we still havent dined out since the Coronavirus outbreak as we want to keep elderly family members safe). So I order the takeaway and pick it up. That's a round trip of 45 minutes, so you can imagine how much we were looking forward to it. I ordered the Chicken Sharhat Main Course. The description of which is this:Slices of chicken breast grilled and served with cooked mushroom, green pepper, onion, garlic and lemon served with chips or rice - £16.50What we got was 1 soggy pepper sliced into 4 large strips, 2 pieces of chicken breast, with one slice of a button mushroom all in brown water which tasted like a very weak chicken stock.Even the chips... were cold cardboard "french fries".Dissapointed is not the word id use. Im down right furious.I even tried to rescue the chips by heating them in the oven - didnt work.A bloody KFC has more flavour than this...I have no idea whats happened to this place, but its rating in my eyes has plummeted.

Nice little gem in Alderly edge. Service is prompt and food is tasty. Portion of food size is good too.We ordered 3 hot starters, 1 main and 1 side dish. Would definitely recommend.Specially loved moujadara and cheese and spinach puff pastry stuffed with Mediterranean spices.
