Nice atmosphere and great food. Unlimited ice cream which is always a plus 😅. Reason I got rid of a star is because the entire old timey atmosphere gets ruined by this big blinking arcade machine.

Very negative staff. Moaning about everything. Bar staff didn’t listen to drinks orders for 3 drinks. Pizza not being served as apparently only have 1 paddle & that was broken. Macaroni cheese was disgusting stodge. Obviously microwaved. Meat dried out & chips cold & disgusting. Would have given -5 if I could. Never going there again. Definitely do not recommend!!

Really enjoyed the recent visit. It was nice and quiet which I like. The food was a decent quality and worth the money. The food offering is certainly vast and I will certainly be wanting to visit again soon!

Have been here for meals and drinks for years, on and off. Good pricing, and some of the new pizzas are great. Hopefully they keep the work up and don't degrade over time. The spicy pizza is the best!Good atmosphere on quiz night too.

Called in here at 5 to eat ,sadly the food was awful,I only had turkey as the gammon and pork looked all dry and was just the last end of the joints.I would of had pie,but it was black and dry,I personally wouldn't have had it out,Yorkshire puddings were pre bought, all veg was dry and potatoes where like bullets and chips were dry and like cardboard.cauliflower was all soggy.I understand it's a quiet day as the food had obviously been sitting there since 12.Being in the catering trade I would not have served this food.Needless to say I didn't eat it.The guy behind the bar was lovely (dark hair) he refunded me.My sons pizza was OK.What also put me off is going to the toilets just before I ate, they all need a good clean, floor was all sticky, marks down sides and insides of toilet doors,So that put me off eating too!I give 0 stars but had to put one to be able to leave a review.

I hate giving bad reviews but I have to be honest, whilst the carvery is pretty cheap I felt the food quality had gone down since we last came about a year ago. Cauliflower cheese was overcooked and lacked any discernable cheese, peas were shrivelled, Yorkshire pudding was cold, mashed potato tasted odd and was gluey (overworked). We got there early so it wasn't due to the food standing out for too long. The beef was lovely though and the staff were nice. If I go again I'd probably try one of the pizzas or burgers instead.

Great place for roast dinner at economy price. Only two criticisms otherwise it would have been a five star. The veg is soggy and a little over done. The pizza has very little cheese so is relatively tasteless. The dough is perfect and fresh but if the group invested in having a proper Italian pizza chef (called a piziolo) to train their pizza chefs they'd have best cheapest pizza in the area.

Took my mum for lunch today. Very disappointed. Meat for both our meals was dry and hard and barely edible - looked like it was from the night before (we were eating at 12.30pm). I had a large carvery and paid more for this which should have included a large Yorkshire pudding (didn't receive) and a sausage (didn't receive). Complained to member of staff who was polite and apologetic and came back to us offering coffee or dessert on the house - we declined as we'd eaten enough, but were grateful for the offer. All in all though, very underwhelmed. This place is supposed to specialise in carvery - but judging by today they are far from good at it.

Great place if you find your hungry and can't be bothered to cook, wait or eat at Maccies or similar. Staff are friendly and food is readily available as it's a hot buffet option. Food is good for the price and never left there feeling like I'm still peckish!
