Great place to have a rest after paddle on the canal...Next time we will have a meal as well in the lovely beer garden...

The new owners, been there six months or so have brought this place back to what it use to be. Great food, great drink, amazing staff. Dog friendly, traditional pub.Proper log burning fire, plenty of space for the family. Loads of parking so that's helpful. We didn't book but might be worth giving them a call if there is a larger group of you. Would be there all the time if I lived closer but well worth the drive. If you're thinking of going I fully recommend it.

Friendly staff and cosy bar area where dogs are allowed; good choice of food and drink at reasonable prices. Food well presented and delicious to eat.

A great traditional pub by the canal with good fresh prepared local food. Guests will get a very warm welcome and a real fire. Nice selection of drinks and entertainment. Dog friendly. We will definitely be going again.

Great little pub. Lovely open fire adds to the atmosphere. The landlord & landlady are very welcoming and all the staff are friendly and professional. The food was delicious with the majority of it homemade. Great range of drinks available too.

6 of us plus a dog called in for lunch on 29.1.22. unfortunately the pub was having problems with their electricity but the kitchen was still working. After we placed our food order, they lost all power completely. The landlady was incredibly calm and helpful, and managed to provide excellent sandwiches with side dishes too. We all have so much praise for the landlady and her team, they were brilliant under very difficult circumstances.

Ye olde number 3 used to be a decent restaurant and pub where the food was good and so was the service - but having been there today it would have been better staying permantly shut as the new owners have not got a clue - ordered drinks and was told that someone would come to take the order but no one came - people waiting at the bar to order but no one serving them and having to wait to be served or order is painful - people in take table next to us had to reject their meals as there was flies in the vinegar that was given to them to use - they were offered replacement meals but decided to go home and cook their own food. Sad as it was a really good pub with people that knew how to run a pub/restaurant and look after customers.Won't be going there again and would recommend anyone to look elsewhere

Really excellent pub. Newly reopened as far as I understand. Lovely fire, drinks and good standard pub grub. Very friendly owners and locals and very dog friendly. You can stay in the carpark in your campervan if you ask and use the pub. Thank you for giving people a choice on covid rules.
