Steak was delicious 🤤 great atmosphere, lovely staff and great food… what more can you want? I had the pork belly bites for starters and rump steak for mains. Both dishes were excellent and I will be returning soon for one of the roasts!

Absolutely superb, the food was excellent and the service to match. Very busy for a weeknight would advise booking. I had the beef shortrib, my wife had the Sea Trout special. Homemade stickey toffee to share for afters

Nice selection of Beers and fantastic quality food, we asked if they had any Garlic Bread and the Chef, made the Garlic butter and sorted out a Garlic Baguette for us and it was brilliant along with the Chicken Wings and the Loaded Chips. Also the staff were very attentive and would walk out to the beer garden area every few minutes to check on everyone. Definitely will be visiting again.

Today, a dear friend and I had what turned out to be the absolute pleasure of visiting for the first time. We often have a drive out and have lunch at various places all over North Wales and the North West.I've never left a review of any other places, but I honestly couldn't let this go without thanking all of the staff for what turned out to be the nicest Sunday lunch with starter and dessert that we've had ever! The Bird in hand has shot straight to the top of our league table. We both left fuller than 20 pounds of spuds in a 10 pound sack. Fit to burst with the nicest food. Happy as the proverbial pig. Thank you so much. We're visiting again!!

An absolute hidden Gem. You have to try this place. Menu is changed regularly by a very talented chef with a quality palete. Service is excellent. The pub/restaurant has recently been renovated but has kept its character as an old building. The team create an excellent atmosphere, from the moment you arrive until you leave you will feel valued.Highly recommended, for a quiet romantic meal, or like we did a party of 18.

Visited a few weeks back with my girlfriend, us both being from the Midlands.Quite noticeably we were out-of-towners, and everyone there looked at us as if we were from outer space and not made to feel welcome at all. Bar staff stared at us for about ten minutes before asking what we wanted, we had a table booked but were told it wasn't ready. Then the girl behind the bar kept trying to usher us up to this weird place called the loft or something along those lines. We had no idea what that was, but didn't really sound too appealing. Instead we took a seat in the main bar and were asked if we were sat there because somebody else was in the loft. Made it sound like some sort of dungeon. We were then hassled to buy a drink even though we said we needed a minute, all the while still being stared at as if we were aliensWe bought a drink, couldn't stomach to finish it, so snuck out the side door to eat with the other aliens at the Toby carvery. Never called to let us know the table was ready, so could still be sat up in the loft/dungeon to this day and no one would know.
