Used to be one of the better Brewers Fare restaurants, but I will not be going back anytime soon. Stale bread delivered with a plowman's instead of the bread roll on the menu, which was swapped out for some fresh when we complained. Several menu items "not available". Grand kids said their pizza tasted like sawdust. Staff seemed okay, but definitely problems with management and probably the kitchen.

Sunday lunch lovely food. Pity the chef slicing the meat wasn't very happy. Staff very attentive.

I have visited Tudor Rose numerous times with family would highly recommend to anyone looking for value for money . Staff are always friendly & very pleaseant. The only downfall is breakfast is only served till 10.30 weekdays pity it isn't the same as weekends 11.30.

Had superb fish and chips. We always upgrade to the Haddock. Fish is cooked perfectly and with a 2 for 1 deal before 6 pm it can't be beaten.

First time having food here and i would definitely recommend, the staff were very helpful and friendly they made us feel very welcome. The food was good we will be back to try other things.

Staff very friendly, welcoming, put themselves out. Food in main very good. Cooked breakfast good value, cold less so. Nice breads, cold meat, cheese missing. The Covid effect making public areas look sad and in need of investment. Would go back.

Lovely food and with being with my family made the day. Most of us enjoyed the food but the ones that didn't the food was over cooked like the steak in the mixed grill.Sorry can't remember the other ones at all.Thank you for that day especially to one of your Staff who was on duty that day. He was so helpful with me as he carried my plate to the table. He is an elderly gentleman and seemed knowledgeable. Please thank him for me and give him 5⭐ as he is worth keeping.

The Staff were nice hence the 2 stars but the food was terrible tbh it’s not even the chefs fault it was cooked fine but it just was fake chicken, not an actual chicken breast, like they think we won’t notice? How much could it cost to just use proper chicken ffs, it’s was some reprocessed chicken shaped like a chicken breast steak was tough really tough. Won’t be eating a at a brewers while working away again. Poor excuse for food.

We have visited this Brewers Fayre for walk up all you can eat Breakfast several times. This visit was the Friday before October Half Term and we wanted to get something to eat before we travelled to stay over near Leeds Bradford and fly abroad the following morning. Everything was going as usual until the Cooked Breakfast arrived, before we had even started to eat the prepared to order breakfasts from the kitchen (no buffet this day) we could see what appeared to be a massive patch of mould in the middle of all the hashbrowns served. We called a waitress over and said we thought the hashbrowns were off and had disintergrated as we passed them over. No offer to remake any of breakfasts (2 adults and a child dining) or even an apology at his stage. We continued to eat then we found the bacon to be slimy and not as clear on the pictures slightly green and smelt funny. Other patrons noticed their bacon to be the same and refused to eat it. At this stage I asked for a manager to come over, I got quite robust with him over all this as I found a piece of glass in a takeaway pizza this year which damaged my teeth so I am very extra sensitive to food safety. I asked for a full refund which was given before we left, In the car park I called Food Standards and filed a report. Food Standards only looked into the Hash Brown issue which they agreed with Whitbread (owners of Brewers Fayre) that there was an issue with the supplier and bruising can appear on the potato. A quick search on Google showed that the symptoms we faced was around expired frozen hash browns which start to go like this after spending too long in the Freezer, this is not a heath risk to eat I am told, but amazed that anybody could serve and wave these away from a professional kitchen regardless . We surmise the bacon had gone off in the Freezer and that is a health risk to consumers, I did suffer from sickness and diarrhoea after visiting here which impacted the start of my holiday. Appalled by the service and the response by Food Standards and also Whitbread who dismissed the complaint out of hand. I hope this review and pictures uploaded will guide you to avoid this Brewers Fayre! Based on the sheepish response from staff that morning they had tried to wing service with little or no fresh produce so must have searched the freezer and took a punt. On another note the cooked tomato tasted off as well! I will not dine at a Brewers Fayre again!
