Only been here twice, but both times the service was quick and friendly and the food was delicious. The the portion size is good and you can't go wrong with some tasty family favourites. And the soft play for the kids is really good for the size of venue.

Ate here last night, I had a cheese ploughman's with a sweet potato tart as an extra which was delicious, my partner had a pie which he enjoyed. Pub was really busy but it was a Saturday night so to be expected. Staying in Chester for the weekend and if we need an evening meal again we will go back.

Went there few days ago. Great place to go with kids. They were occupied with play area and had loads of fun. We ordered a refillable hot drinks to kept us going while waiting for food. I seen reviews about the long wait but it wasn’t bad at all. Food came pretty quick and it was really good. Staff was very friendly. Despite all the bad reviews my experience was very positive and table next to us had no issues either. We will definitely come back.

We booked a table for 5.30 so we could come and have Sunday roast. As we arrived a supervisor whispered to the member of staff checking us in no more Sunday roasts. We were shown to our table right outside the toilet doors with our 8 month old baby. Nothing was said about no roast dinners. We were told at either till we could order but when we went to the first one the member of staff didn't know how to use the till. We ordered nachos as a starter and asked for our mains to follow which were scampi and chips and hot pot. It took 30 minute for a small plate of nachos to arrive. Which didn't have any salsa on them. Our plate was then collected some 20 minutes later. That was when the waiting started. We waited over a hour for our mains to arrive. At this point I went to find out where they had gone to catch the scampi. I proceeded to que for 20 minutes to ask what had happened to the fisherman. The manager went to find out and come back and asked me had we received our starter this was nearly a hour and a half into our visit. He then said our mains would be another 15 to 20 minutes. All off this seem completely acceptable for all members of staff. Finally our mains arrived and it was deffinatly not worth the wait. 8 tiny scampi and a few hardly cooked chips. The hot pot was at best a microwave meal with uncooked broccoli. At this point we had completely had enough. Nothing we had at our meal was worth the £30 something we had payed. The restaurant needs a complete make over.

Well if it wasn’t for the fun park for the kids this place would be arguably be up there for the worst service. Staff are constantly walking past your starter dishes that have been left on the table for over an hour. Food takes an age to come. None of them know how to smile. Had to walk back to the table and buy from the kids park for a drink because it was quicker. Would not be coming here again. Even ended up rowing with my missus because the place was toxic. Please read the reviews. It’s true. The place is hell.

Absolutely dire, called in for a quick drink and thought we'd order some nachos. Big mistake! Place was really quiet. Really very small portion, £7.49 with what were supposed to be two chicken gougons came cold. We complained, they took the plate away, came back exactly the same. We questioned the salsa to be told that a couple of pieces of cut tomato was salsa!!! I could have done a better job myself.

Such a shame. We are local and pop in occasionally, as its handy for the supermarket, but its always grubby. Tables sticky, staff friendly but lack of stock. Toilets never smell nice, my two year old asked to go outside instead!!! If it raised its game should have no problem linked to a hotel

Went for tea time meal with husband, daughter and grandson. Already had booked table but not busy so could have justed walked in. Staff very friendly but thought they ought to have worn masks. Food not the best and waited some time for it. Pity because it's very handy for the premier inn.

Booked for Christmas Dinner. What an absolute disaster. Table was sticky. The decorations consisted of a cheap cracker. Only one person on bar serving drinks so had to wait 15 minutes for a refill drink. Food on servery was dry and cold. Two people clearing tables one had no idea what he was doing and looked at table number back to front. One women had hand full of napkins and cutlery and dropped them on the floor. After an hour of waiting for our mains to be cleared I had to ask for the table to be cleared. The deserts came 30 minutes later and were wrong. Couldn't wait to get out what a complete waste of money and family time ruined.

It's always a great place to have breakfast in the morning before starting your day. Their scrambled eggs 🐣 are so moist👌🏾...
