Bunbury Arms in Cheshire West and Chester

Recommended to us to try and we were definitely not disappointed, we had the mushrooms to start and then I had the steak and Guinness pie with home made chips and veg and my friend had the steak, took a while for our mains to come but they were worth the wait as everything was freshly cooked and it was nice to have a bit of time between courses anyway, the service was great and the staff were friendly, I would 100% recommend

A lovely, quiet pub with excellent food and great friendly service. Made us and our dog feel very welcome.

I visited here today with my wife and 2 year old daughter, I never normally write reviews but I really felt that this place was worthy of one! The place was excellent! The staff were great the food was brilliant the menu has a great selection to accommodated all people ! I strongly recommend a visit we will 100% be going back loved it !

I come here with my boyfriend and his friends when I'm in Chester. Staff are always friendly and down to earth. The food always smells amazing but havent eaten here yet. Our door seating is lovely, they have heaters for when its chilly.

Omg, fabulous. I had roast beef Sunday dinner & my husband had pie and chips. Cant decided which was better the roast potatoes or chips both were devine. Staff and service excellent

I've not been to the Bunbury for years - since i worked for Octel - but it was just as good as i remembered- we had a wonderful warm welcome from Sophie and her team. Fantastic food - fish and chips to die for.Can't recommend it enough as an antidote to the hustle and bustle of Cheshire Oaks.

Fully booked, but we went in on off chance, found us a table in the snug. Wonderful staff ,like our own private dining experience. Lovely food. £60 3 roast dinners drinks and puds! Worth a visit

Location is lovely. Service started OK but deteriorated quickly. Seated fine and drinks order taken. Waited a while had to ask for menu, waitress was clueless when asked about veggie options available. I asked about a veg chilli or the veggie option for the roast. Waited 75 mins for food to arrive without knowing what I'd be getting. The veggie roast was basically veg the meat alternative forgotten covered in unwantedand unasked for salty sweet gravy. After such a wait just ate it. Sat for all that time without a second drink tried to catch waitresses eye repeatedly as movement was discouraged. Asked about dessert n told they where on the board which we couldn't see due to our location. Much anticipated and sadly poor service. Would not recommend.
