We visited here with our young daughter whilst visiting the area and camping nearby. The park is a real array of different and varied rides and attractions. A great mix of indoor and outdoor options as well. Our young daughter loved the outdoor play area with the snow foam appearing every 30mins ☃️Paying just £2.50 to get in gives you chance to then weigh up how much more you're likely to spend so saves you overpaying an entry fee and not being able to play on all the rides.A large size restaurant is also available but also plenty of picnic benches too.We loved the indoor soft play and sand & water play zones as well as actually getting some great flavoured ice cream too 🍦All round great day out with plenty of options to pay for just what you use.Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic day out with the kids! Loved every minute!Plenty for them to do, indoor and outdoor activities. Need to come prepared with spare socks or water proof if they play indoor with the water.Staff are really helpful and the ice cream tastes amazing! That alone is an experience in itself.

Arrived at the ice cream factory and was greeted by a gentleman called JJ he explained everything about the park and what you need to know and the info was great and for me the place was spotless the staff were very helpful and on the out as the name of the company says we had to have an ICE CREAM with loads of Verity's of flavours for me mint choc WOW, really enjoyed it, but look try this place out for your self the kids will love it, but the one thing I would say is I would say it's for up to the age of maybe 11 years of age from where I live it took just under an hour to get there,we went on a warm day but I think in the summer this place will be very busy, so good luck and enjoy if you go and I would give this 5 out of 5 👍🏻 O and cows were in the field next door 👍🏻 and by the way as you no we CAN'T put photos up with kids on them but there is more things there other than these photos 👍🏻

Really good activities, only one criticism is the price. Having to pay for each activity becomes extremely expensive and the bulk cards are not exactly cheap.Having said about the price, really have to reiterate how good the place is!!

We visited the Ice Cream Farm to break up a journey to Wales. There had been a few previous reviews left by people who used to use this place before it became popular which I feel don’t truly reflect how it was on our visit.Firstly there are some things to consider before you travel here.1) PLAN AHEAD - queues for ice creams will be long at times when other people will also want an ice cream. We had one person in front of us in the queue at around 10.20 but if you want one at 12.30 after you’ve had your lunch there’s a very high chance that everyone else will want one. The queue at this time was out of the door and slow moving.2) There is a sand and water play that we thought would be the same as every children’s activity place we have visited. We were wrong. The sand and water play area is a huge barn half covered with sand and with a water system that allows children to control the flow etc. I reckon there was close to fifty children playing with the water but no one looked as though they were waiting for a turn as there was so many different features (opening/closing valves, wheels etc to this. HELPING POINT: TAKE A BUCKET/SPADE AND A SWIMSUIT/WETSUIT for your child as this will enhance their visit. They do sell bucket/spades here but it’s an unneeded additional expense. There is also a coffee/tea machine here if you’re one of the lucky parents who gets to sit down and watch what’s going on!3) You pay a small charge to enter the park and then pay for what you use. You can pay for each individual attraction or can buy a pass card (£15 for 5 attractions - normally £4.50 each). The pass card has an expiry of 2 years time so to me it makes sense to buy one of those and use it on a later visit if you don’t plan to use it all on the same day. This is good for a day out where there will be a lot of adults (grandparents etc) who don’t have to pay a high entry price without using the attractions.4) I’ve heard you can pay no entry charge if you want just an ice cream but only one adult per party is allowed in to do this. This is a great feature to have!5)Take some pound coins as there are some shorter attractions that take coins or tokens.6) A well maintained soft play area means that even on a rainy day there is something to do to burn off the energy the ice cream gives them!We will definitely be revisiting The Ice Cream Farm when we are in the area. The ice creams we chose were excellent. Very tasty and stored so that they were in optimal condition(Double chocolate, mocha, nutella and popping candy but many many more flavours to choose from). There were boards throughout the queuing system with visuals of how they looked to help young children see what they wanted.Hope the next visit is as good!

Great place to visit! Loads to do! Could easily spend time just playing in the play area and eating ice cream but I do recommend buying a play pass. They're currently understaffed and during peak times it shows with long waits, however the staff were lovely despite how busy they were. Don't forget to bring a towel and swim gear/waterproofs!

Absolutely amazing place. We visited term-time and mid-week so the place was almost deserted. Some of the rides and attractions weren't open, but there was more than enough available. The entry fee was ridiculously cheaper and we'd have happily paid a lot more. The Play Pass (£15 for 5 'plays' at the time of writing) is a must, as some of the best attractions such as the soft play are £4.50 each without a Pass. The water/sand play area is incredible. Absolutely huge and with enough equipment to accommodate a load of kids at once, certainly far more than were there when we visited. However, bring wellies and waterproof clothes otherwise you'll have soggy kids for the rest of your visit.Everything else was reasonably priced. Not cheap, but not the price-gouging that is sometimes seen in places with a captive audience. We'll definitely be back, sooner rather than later!

A fantastic ice cream themed play park for kids 8 and under (my opinion). Clean, well cared for and amazing individual play areas filled with happy kids. Some parts needed an entrance fee to be paid extra which could make it an expensive visit. Oh and did I mention the ice creams? Wonderful selection with vegan options available too.

A really great day out in the local area. Some may have the opinion that the price structure, admission/play pass, are a little high but the Ice Cream Farm has really re-invested the money customers spend and have provided something akin to a bit of a theme park day out for kids. Plus the ice cream is amazing (if anyone is wondering the one in my hand is bakewell tart and pistachio, a taste sensation.)
