Chetwode Arms in Cheshire West and Chester

Came here for a Mother's Day lunch and honestly I was completely unprepared for how enjoyable the whole thing would be. I had a sirloin steak and it was very good, and we all shared some of the exotic meats like zebra and llama. The whole restaurant has a sort of chaotic energy but the lady who served us was genuinely lovely, despite being absolutely rushed off her feet, and I wouldn't hesitate to go again.

Wouldn’t bother, pub was completely empty and we came in for just one drink after a long walk. We received a frosty reception and told under no circumstances was she going to serve us as she was so busy. Not a soul outside where we want to sit. One of the rudest receptions I’ve ever had.

Visited as a family of 4 and enjoyed fabulous food served by lovely staff. Will definitely be visiting again. Thank you 🌟

I loved the food and drinks but I came back for the excellent atmosphere. Angela and Claudia are such great, lovely characters. I have had such a good laugh. I miss them and the place already and will definitely come back, all the way from Aberdeen, Scotland. Thank you for such an amazing experience!

If you have never been to this restaurant I would highly advise you take a trip down! The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, very cosy and warm and the food is another level!You can try many different world meats such as zebra, crocodile and even python! The prices are more than fair and the staff are the most friendly people you will ever have to host your meal. Will definitely be back for more! If I could give more than 5 stars I would!

Amazing meal with wonderful hosts, recommended as great meat place and didn’t disappoint- superb range of exotic meats available which was totally unexpected. Lovely and friendly welcome and great draught ales on tap with great wine selection. This little gem may be out of the way but it’s worth the journey to enjoy!

The food is out of this world, such an original idea, but executed so well. They bring you which meats you would like, and then bring you an individual hot plate where you cook all of your own food, but if I could give it 10 stars out of 5 I would!
