Freezing cold seating area. I sat next to a radiator and was still cold! Poor menu and extremely over priced. Despite a very small menu and me being first arrival, had "sold out" of some dishes already. Considering very small number of guests, some people had to wait a very long time for food (I did ok but saw 2 people wait as long for their starter as it took for both my main and dessert to come). Really annoying and uninspiring piano music that was playing too loud. I'm sure there are much better eateries around Chester...

Food is ok. Not very high standard. Cheap produce, but high prices.

A good place,to go after a funeral,we went to Chester crematorium, which is at Blacon, just up the road,it was followed by a buffet, tea, coffee ☕ a bar for alcohol, sandwiches, scones,a selection of Cake 🍰,in a well ventilated, sunny conservatory, with very helpful staff

Posting on behalf of the Smith and Reddy family - We just wanted to say a huge Thank You to you for the fabulous buffet we had today at the Mollington Banastre in Chester. The occasion was an interment for my father and mother-in-law. It was very important to us that the get together afterwards went well. Of course, the service and food are the main part of this and we really couldn't be happier with both. Everyone said how lovely the food was.Very best wishes to everyone involved and thank you for helping to make this a great family occasion.

Absolutely delicious meal and fantastic service as always. Thank you so much we can't wait to return in April!

Food was good, staffing not so good. Service staff didn't know menu, hardly anyone in restaurant and still took 1.5hrs to bring mains. Celebrating a special birthday thought they would have done something for the person as a little gesture like most places which would have enticed us to buy a dessert, but no. Service staff need the training

Very disappointed. Was given a voucher £45 for afternoon tea for 2 for Christmas. Service ok had to go looking for waitress and the food was ok if you were one of "The Borrowers" cakes were postage stamp size literally. We did ask if we could have more cakes and were given some brownies.Felt we didn't get our money's worth at all very disappointed customer.

Worst hotel stay ever. 1st room was freezing cold. Second room had dirty pants in the wardrobe. And after finally moving to the 3rd room at 11 o'clock. This was surposed to be the bridal suite. I definitely would not wanna take my bride back to that room in a million years. Avoid at all cost
