Crown Carvery The Old Quay in Cheshire West and Chester

We’ve had breakfast here this morning, and both myself and my partner had the breakfast wraps. They were fantastic! So tasty! Apparently the chef uses pizza dough to make the wraps. 5 stars, staff very nice and friendly too - would highly recommend.

Excellent food, excellent staff. Serves the best carvery on the Wirral by a country mile. Great value for money too. Can't recommend the place highly enough.

Always nice they have the best eggs always cooked to absolute perfection. Also beautiful sausages not a horrible fried chippy one. Waitress are always polite and happy. Thank you for having the best breakfast in 5 mile

The food and drinks are decent enough and good value for money. The Roasts are generally very good if you are hungry. What I really want to call out it the service, specifically a lady called Tracy who went above an beyond to my my 5 years old happy and the little friend she made while there. It was a simple kindness but one that made them happy and also the parents. And as we know happy kids usually means happy parents. Thank you Tracy.

Had the carvery breakfast. Good value. Unlimited toast included. Drinks of tea and coffee £1.99 extra for unlimited. Eggs not hot enough though. Everything else OK. Nice bacon and sausages. Had the option of adding waffles and breakfast pizza but never went for this.

Lovely view over the river towards Wales.The place wasn't very busy, the staff were nice n friendly, restaurant however is looking very tired, needs redecorating badly. We both had the carvery, meat was delicious but the veg was dried out, been on the warmer too long, mash was clumpy and the roasties were not the best the day we went, hard n dry inside. cannot comment on the other food on the menu.

Fantastic value for money and extremely attentive staff. My colleagues and I popped in recently after work. None of us had visited before but we will all definitely be returning. The food was great and the staff couldn’t have done any more for us. Thank you!

went for a sunday roast. the food is good(wish its hotter) got a pint(self service) few varieties of vegies(that time) gravy is a little dull for me.

Carvery meat, potatoes and cranberry sauce lovely. Vegetables good. Bar, Carvery area and toilets clean.

I found vegan meal mediocre. Vegan burger very tasty but no salsa sauce, no vegan cheese, ( wasn't told they'd run out when I ordered). Asked for chips but got wedges. Meal for both me and my brother wasn't hot. Assistant manager Sophie was very helpful and apologetic. Thanks Sophie! And great customer service from manager/ owner as well. Because of the great customer service skills from both, will give old Quay another try when down that way.
