Hartford Hall Pub in Cheshire West and Chester

An amazing place for food drinks and over night stays... lovely staff who greet you at the door. Very clean place.. lovely garden has out door heaters.. a lit garden area with night lights.. food is also so nice and Fresh. A nice young lad called frankie looked after us and had a nice chat. There is a train station round the corner near enough.. Nice small town down the road..

Excellent service and excellent food. The front of house was extremely accommodating, and our Waitrose and waitresses were both really attentive. The food was superb, my husband had steak (of which I snuck a bite) it was extremely flavoursome and juicy. And my scallops cooked to perfection! Thank you all very much for accommodating us on a bank holiday! Xxx

Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff all very happy to help. Got two drinks from the bar, the gin had a nice touch with fresh berries in it. We chilled in the bar until we were ready, they took our order the waitress was very polite and friendly. Julie as always was very friendly and welcoming made us feel at home as she always does….Food was amazing we both had roast dinner, everything about it was beautiful lovely attention to detail, veg cooked and served brilliantly, meat was melt in your mouth.We then took our drinks back to the bar and chilled for a few more, we commented on the atmosphere, how friendly the place is, Julie came in to check on us. Asked us about our experience and food, it was really really nice.We will be back as we felt it really made our Sunday!! Thank you x

The rooms were great and very clean and nicely decorated with plastic plants, radio, bath robes, and a proper coffee machine. There were lots of complementary items such as glasses of water, shower caps, and even a sewing kit. However there was no deadlock/chain on the door so if a cleaner or someone wanted to come in whilst asleep they could. Also there wasn't a toilet brush.The pub part was also nice and clean if not kind of small. But there was a very large beer garden that had heat lamps and stuff so it would be nice in the summer. The dining room area was nice and big.The food tasted okay, but I was not impressed for the price of it. Especially the breakfast, it came with only 1 sausage for around £9 it was a nice enough sausage but I would expect more on my plate for such an expensive breakfast. Same goes for everything in the pub really it was all a bit too expensive. The staff members were all very friendly and attentive but it was too expensive for us and we won't be returning.

The overall experience was very good. The service was good and the girls, Orlagh and Charlotte were lovely. It was my wife's birthday and hers and my daughters dinners were very enjoyable. However my risotto was was dry, chewy and probably the worst I have ever had. Hopefully this was a one off and would not put me off going again

Planned to pop in for a quick coffee and chat on recommendation by friend I was meeting.As soon as I entered the entrance, I felt immediately at home, with smiles and service present, a-plenty.7 hours went so quickly, with fine wine and dine, really didn't want to go on from there.My company and I thoroughly enjoyed our "quick coffee" meeting point and look forward to sampling their fine food and wine again soon.Great place, great staff, great service on offerings, what more could one ask for Yx

Lovely boxing dinner, with family.The staff were amazing. So welcoming and friendly..Food came out hot, delicious, and at a great pace over the 3 courses. Considering we had little ones with us. So was much appreciated.Will definitely be returning, and highly recommend. Many thanks.

Cozy and lively ambiance. Friendly service. Very enjoyable food at a very fair price. All of my party of six thoroughly enjoyed our dinner and would gladly make a return visit.

Visited with friends as a pre Christmas treat and had a really good night. The food was delicious and enjoyed by all. As it was Tuesday, it was steak night and the were really good. The staff were charming, attentive without being overbearing. Only one shortfall! No English mustard!!! That needs to be put right. Great start to the holiday season. Try it!!!

We were a large group of 13. We were given a lovely table that was laid out nicely and we’re well looked after by 1 young lady who did a great job of checking we had everything we needed and ensured the timing of our meal was in line with our needs. We felt that whilst the food was good, it didn’t represent great value for money … we felt it was over priced. The overall experience was very good.
