Light of India Balti House in Cheshire West and Chester

Worst Indian restaurant ive ever been to,service was bordering on insulting and food was very poor.Stay away is my advice.

We ordered our meal at 4.30pm and had a call stating delivery at 5.45. After a phone call enquiring where was it the food finally arrived at 6.20 minus one starter and cold chips , we rang and were told they would send it immediately,40 minutes later it arrived but by then the main course had been eaten , my advice is order elsewhere as this seems a common complaint with this company , never again !

My daughter had won a banquet meal for twoSo booked for tonight.It was totally fantastic a wonderful service and beautifully cooked .I cannot failt it one bit...Will certainly book to eat hear again thank you to all the staff.

Great little place, used to be the best in the area then a change of management changed the quality too, but I'm happy to play it is well on the way up again. Tasty food at a good price and excellent service. Welcome back to the light.

My husband, our daughter & I had a takeaway delivered recently, used Light of Indian for years always nice but the last takeaway we had was disgusting, was literally swimming in grease, I know it can be greasy but omg it was swimming, the whole meal, starters & main course was disgusting, not sure if you had a new chef or he just didn't know how to cook? Sorry but will never order from here again, very disappointed, put us all off for life. 🤢🤮

Brilliant local Indian. Very quiet on weekdays, and I don't know why as the curry is outstanding. Meat tender and veg/sauce full of flavour. Beware: The hotter dishes pack a punch. Been back plenty of times.

A wet Sunday night in Ellesmere - this was a perfect solution. Living in Derby we are spoilt for choice of Indian Food outlets - we enjoyed every morsel of our selection - service was excellent and so nice to see silver service at table - a lost skill these days and appreciated by us as my partner was so trained. Wish it were closer so we could visit again - from the numerous phone calls we saw the take away was also popular. Thank you for a lovely meal.
