Central location, along the canal, convenient for the Cathedral and City centre. 6 minutes walk. Clean, full of character room. Efficient staff. Breakfast and evening food very good and reasonable prices. Parking available. Worthy of 4/5 rating. Will return

Rather a small room for a three night stay. Cleaning was not as thorough as it could have been. All staff we came across were very friendly and did a lot to help us enjoy our stay. Great location for city centre, restaurants/pubs, station and has it's own car park opposite hotel.

Went to the Mill house spa for my partner 40 birthday. We had a lovely time. The service from start to finish was excellent. The staff were all friendly, helpful and have a great sense of humour. The hotel was clean. The food was excellent. The spa treatment was out of this world. The hotel is in a perfect location. Just a 10 minute walk from the town centre. And plenty of car parking spaces. ( parking is £5 a day) truly a lovely time. Definitely would go back one day.

Dinner a touch pricey but for what you get and quality not bad really.Breakfast, jolly dashed scrummy served buffet ( due to covid )Pool, sauna gym first classClean tidy well supervised.Staff; what can I say about them. Professional most definitely uniformed absolutelyFriendly oh my word so friendly made us feel so welcomeBreakfast was a comedy show the host was terrific, yes it was a show but not put on, conversations remembered with guests. But all staff very good very friendly. And location perfect for city and wallsThank you for the experience

Nice hotel, lovely staff, restaurant food lovely especially pudding! Breakfast nice but have had better and more choice in other hotels. Room was a bit small as there was a double and a single bed which took up most of the space and there were only two of us so would have been better without it and no fridge in room although cleaning lady did bring us some ice for our fresh milk. Also just a hanging rail for our clothes with a few hangers. Room could have been organised better for space as felt quite claustrophobic. However we did enjoy our stay overall.

We had a weekend here bought as a Christmas gift from our children and we weren't disappointed, the room, although basic, was extremely clean, the bed was comfy and the shower worked well. All staff were extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for you, although we wouldn't visit Chester again, if we had to we would definitely book here again. The only downer, apart from not having a fridge in the room, was they charged for the carpark, which we didn't know about until we got there, but can understand why they do, being right in the middle of the city.

Excellent service, comfortable room, Could do with some drawers and cupboards in the room. Present storage arrangements are very attractive but not practical.Food good , staff Excellent. Good location.

Stayed here several times in the past and have always enjoyed ourselves. This time was no exception. The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. We stayed for two nights incorporating the New Year's Eve Dinner Dance. Absolutely fantastic time. Bedroom was clean and spacious as was the bathroom, bar area was well stocked and well run. Will definitely return soon.

Above average room size(South Wing, floor 5), comfortable bed, basic bathroom.Parking was a slight issue finding a space as hotel was fully booked.Pool, steam room, sauna and jacuzzi were all working and very clean.Breakfast was above average, though only serving tea and instant nescafe as coffee machine was broken for two mornings in a row( though it was on the Bank Holidays after Christmas, maybe they couldn't get the service person out?)Nice bar areas and a unusual bridge linking the buildings over the canal. All the staff that I had the pleasure of dealing with were very polite.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Loved it! Exceeded our expectations. The swimming pool area is awesome. Staff so friendly and helpful. Location is perfect... 5 mins to the town centre. We had a canal view deluxe room and it was gorgeous.
