Old Hall Farm in Cheshire West and Chester

Thank you to Reece and his team for looking after our large group booking yesterday evening. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone had a great time. We will definitely return. Thank you!

A Lovely place quiet when we arrived at 1700 on a Monday. Ordered a mixed grill felt hungry so I went for a mega mixed grill way too much for me. Steak cooked as I asked for a nice welcome from all the staff I can't wait to come back worth every penny.

7 of us went on Sunday and 5 chose the Carvery. Whilst the meat was delicious and plentiful, the rest of the food wasnt very good. Luke warm, stodgy potatoes and stuffing looked and tasted like glue. We will not be returning. Very disappointed.

I had my little ones 1st Birthday party in the function room upstairs today and it was absolutely brilliant. Such a great space to have all to yourself and everyone said how nice it was. Staff were helpful with booking and letting me set up the night before and the cost was really reasonable. We’ll be back for the next party for sure! Thank you x

The staff were efficient, the food was excellent. Our only complaint was that it is not made clear on the menu, in the small print or at the time of ordering that the £2 dessert on the Lets Lunch Lighter Bites that the dessert needed to be ordered at the same time as the dinner. We didn't order automatically didn't order with the meal as you don't always know if you can manage the extra. I feel this should have been made clearer on menu stating £2 must be order with main meal.

High quality food, really good service. I'm vegan and they brought me one of the best burgers I've ever had! My family said the carvery and other dishes were excellent. The staff make the place warm and friendly.

We have never had anything other than a great meal at the Old Hall Farm and this was no exception.We visited for the family feel as my mum, whose special birthday we were celebrating, wanted somewhere for my 8 year old daughter and 7 year old nephew to play and enjoy, too and they really did!All the meals were great and we were really grateful for replacements of non-abailable items (chips instead of garlic bread).We were a party of 8 and it was a very special occasion and we were really glad we picked Old Hall Farm as the place to celebrate. Thank you! We will be back!

Very good service. Had the carvery which closes at 8pm. I arrived at 7:45 and there was just enough for me, but if you would like a wider selection I would suggest booking earlier. Drinks reasonable and a nice environment for a casual meal and a chat. Looks were excellent, very clean - note you do need to ask for the disabled loo key. Very good team work and all the staff were constantly clearing tables and keeping the place sharp and clean. Only niggle was the Yorkshire pud was a bit oily and soft, but would return again. Decent dinner and a drink for around £10-£14 midweek. Keep it up guys!

I would recommend avoiding this place and going somewhere else. We ordered 2 mixed grills, both were missing mushrooms one was missing a pork steak which was substituted with chicken and the other one had a pork steak which was infact a thick piece of bacon. The lamb chop wasn't even cooked and when I confronted the manager about our concerns she was as helpful as an ash tray on a motorbike. If we weren't forced to pay before receiving the food we wouldn't have paid.

Great experience today, got a table straight away even though it looked busy plus being a Sunday. I didn’t have to wait to be served and headed straight for the carvery, food was delicious and cake was amazing, staff all friendly and place has a nice chilled atmosphere. We’ll be back!
