Opera Grill in Cheshire West and Chester

Outstanding - I arranged for 35 family members (including children) to enjoy a meal here for my husband's 40th birthday. From start to finish the team at Opera Grill were fantastic. On the day, we had so many people attending to our table, the food was fantastic, drinks were flowing, service was impeccable. Even the staff who weren't directly involved with our party were outstanding. It's a shame we live so far away as we would make this a regular venue for large gatherings. Really cannot fault the whole experience.

What a wonderful evening. Lovely food and cocktail. Staff plentiful and cheerful. Ambient music was a tad too loud, but it didn't ruin our evening. If you're in Chester I would suggest booking a table and enjoy a wonderful evening.

5* says it all. Great place with a good atmosphere. A lovely menu selection that will appeal to all. The food was perfect. The only negative is choice of sides, potatoes were only chips and mash where the options on menu were crying out for others. Service was friendly and attentive. Venue very good and would love to visit again to the upstairs music room at the weekend or garden terrace on a warm day.

We stayed overnight in Chester and booked to eat here after looking at reviews and I'm so glad we did! Loved everything about this restaurant, staff so amazing and attentive, especially our waiter Marcus! Amazing food, drinks and atmosphere! Live band so we literally danced the night away! We live in Liverpool but will definitely do the drive back just to come back!

Excellent food with really friendly staff. Also life music is a really nice touch. Our only negative is the fact when the bill arrived the £20 deposit wasn't deducted, this also happened with the group in front of us. On pointing this out it was rectified without question.As a side note. The restaurant and staff know every group has paid a deposit for the table so should automatically know to deduct said £20. I wonder how many diners don't notice or query this and lose out on £20.

Lovely place for taking someone out for a special meal. One of the nicest places to be in Chester with the outside decor as beautiful as the inside decor. The menu is quite extensive catering to everyone’s taste. The staff is very accommodating

Food was yummy.Excellent service.Tasted my first crab 🦀 and it didn't disappoint.Our waitress found out it was our mini moon and she looked after us really well.Even served our desserts on a board with congratulations 🎊 for us.Pavlova for dessert 🍨 too 😋
