Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. Would recommend trying a desert too

Birthday meal for an 8 year old girl, she loves pesto, 12 of us, service was really good, our waitress was fantastic. We did not have to wait long at all after ordering and the food was hot. Served as a tapas, 3 small plates per person were recommended, I would say that was ample, I could have stretched to a 4th plate as the food was so delicious, but 3, as goldilocks said, was just right. Overall a really lovely experience. We brought a homemade birthday cake and the staff allowed the cake to be cut and eaten in the restaurant, which i thought was a lovely touch. Overall a really lovely delicious meal was had by the 12 of us.

Went with friends for a birthday meal. After a mix up with the booking, we eventually got seated and ordered from the special deal, which is available upto 7pm. All the food arrived freshly cooked and in good time, considering the place was full!My friends and I all enjoyed our dishes and four of us squeezed dessert in too!The staff were pleasant and friendly and the bill quite reasonable considering how many dishes we shared!We will definitely be back for more!

First time visit with friends. Oh my god so much choice. 3 dishes for 11.99 and we had one extra side of potatoes. Gorgeous. Will be returning to try the other dishes. Nice staff too. Not pushy or mithering.

Excellent food well presented. Loads of choice. Small plates are about a fiver and I suppose you don't get a lot for that but the quality is excellent and ribs £10.00 for a decent rack.Will be returning

Awesomely beautiful quality epic food. My friend and I visited Cabbage Hall Pesto 11th Dec for our Xmas catch up. We are 2 ladies whom know our minds and we like things to be comfortable. We were greeted and sat in the first small area before the bar in front of a fire place with the fire in it. Both being very hot ( in more ways than one wink wink nudge nudge) we asked politely to.be moved and this was no issue at all. We both ordered a drink each ( salted caramel martini is recommended) and then our food. Tiny wait between these but it was a busy Sat Night. I then ordered my food and decided on 7 dishes and my friend 6. I think all the food was amazing . I love the oregano potatoes till the day I die but standouts for me were the belly pork...so soft and cod bits in beer batter, so fresh and chunky. I also really liked the goats cheese puff pastry tart. My friend enjoyed her chicken thigh dish. Overall perhaps one of the beat meals I have ever had at Pesto.

Food was fantastic. Most ordered from the lunch menu which was really good value. I tried the pork belly for the first time and it was amazing.I would definitely recommend the carbonara, peposo and the pork bellyBeing served drinks took a while, not many staff onBut food all came out hot and perfect

Absolutely amazing experience. If you like Italian food, I defy you not to be impressed. Excellent service and a wide selection of dishes. All cooked to perfection. Do your stomach a big favour and visit this place soon. Outstanding!

My partner and I had a brilliant meal at Pesto this evening. We booked last minute and had no issues getting a table. The food was amazing - a great range of dishes on the menu so it was difficult to choose! Everything we ordered was delicious. Our experience though was made by our amazing server Rachel, she was really friendly, very knowledgeable about the menu and really attentive. A credit to the restaurant! 5* would definitely recommend 😊
