Lovely interior with some really bright areas, great outdoor area including a few literal riverside tables, ample parking, nice staff and some really nice food (i had the kebab as pictured, some charred bits but yet damn tasty kebab meat complimented with feta and pomegranate)They have stopped the 2 for 1 deal they used to do, but i still felt what I had was very reasonable at about £17 including an extra kebabCan't say too much on drink prices as i only had hot drinks

Lovely clean and fresh feel to the place, yet still warm and welcoming. Friendly, helpful staff and nice food. The music was a little loud for that time of day and I politely asked the waitress to tune it down a little bit, which she did, straight away. Very pleasant to have a window seat as well. I also thought that the complimentary sweets on the bar were a nice touch.

A bit disappointed.Given meal without anything to eat it with, had to call person back, came back after a while with utensils. So meal warm rather than hot.Meal should have been with pilua rice, was boiled rice on the plate. When pointed this out the member of staff went to the kitchen, said they only have boiled rice.Curry anaemic, and very bland and watery. Chuckney portion if any smaller would have been none existent. For desert I asked for jam roly-poly, staff member said it was out of stock.I Asked before ordering of they do a discount for bluelight card, said they did, when I got the bill no discount had been put on it, I had to get them to do bill again.Price was OK if a descent meal , and as stated on the menu. Neither was the case, so while not the worst experience I have had by a long way, I did feel a little disappointed with the experience and the price, even after discount was applied.

We visit Riverside Inn regularly, partly because of very reasonable prices, but we have never had a bad meal there. The restaurant was very busy, with several large family parties, Sunday lunchtime, but we had booked, and were seated very quickly, at a nice table overlooking the river. We opted for the carvery lunch, with a choice of 4 meats, and as many vegetables as you wanted - all of which was hot & tasty. There are a lot of, mostly, younger staff, who are all very well-trained, pleasant and helpful. All in all, a very good Sunday lunch experience! See you next week!

Very pleasant evening. Slight problem, in that I booked a table, but when we arrived there was no actual table reserved. The staff although somewhat young, were very helpful and attentive, without being intrusive. I have to say that the "new" steak pie is a great upgrade on the previous one. All in all a very pleasant experience, and we have already booked a table for early next week. Keep up the good work..

Nice layout, friendly staff. Food let's it down. Ordered roasted sweet potato and chickpea Tagine and could not find any potato, just slop of what tasted liked tinned sauce over heated up chickpea. The side salad half slice cucumber bit of mixed lettuce also looked like precooked from bags. Shame. My mum tried the gammon steak and so much fat running through the meat she struggled to cut it. The chips they brought were from frozen. At nearly 16.00 per dish it was well below expectations.

My partner booked a table for an afternoon date. She asked for a seat by the window looking out over the river and they sorted this for us no problem. Very friendly staff, food was very tasty and very well priced. Very clean and the view over the river is stunning, watching the barges go by. Very romantic for couples but would also be lovely for families too. Will definitely be returning in the future.

Visited The Riverside Inn for a birthday meal with family. Sat outside which afforded us a picturesque view of the river. Meals are 2 for 1 so great value. Food was tasty pub grub. Staff friendly and helpful. Absolutely will be returning.
