Really enjoyed our meal here on Saturday, friendly service from our server and the food was good.... Will come again 👍👍

Staying here on a business trip. Double room is spacious, decent standard of cleanliness, very comfy and very attractively decorated. Beautiful location. Very secure. Dinner in the pub was fine, the food was okay, nothing special but a decent meal although only a single option (burger and salad) for vegans. Our server, Sophie, was great, very friendly and attentive, and service was prompt.

Visited Saturday with my daughter and excellent service once again by Saskia. Always at hand to ensure we had everything. We had a slight issue with my meal which was resolved quickly with no fuss by Saskia. We both enjoyed our meals… and deserts of course 😊 Will definitely be visiting more often! Ideal to moor up outside for the night and grab a cold pint or 2 and hot food.

Booked the day before and were able to increase booking for an extra guest on the day. Staff provided fantastic customer service. We had Sunday lunch which was nice although the side servings of vegetables were overcooked and brocolli was super soft. Lots of parking available. Outdoor seating if you want to brave the cold. Bathrooms are on the second floor.

My partner and I chose to stay here for our anniversary to visit Chester and Chester zoo once again. It turned out to be a fantastic decision! Our room at the Inn was The Cow and Calf and it wouldn’t look out of place in a top London hotel room. Everything about the room screams luxury and elegance! We had dinner in the evening downstairs and the food was out of this world! Everything from the starters to the desserts were delicious and left you wanting more. We were waited on by the lovely Natalie and nothing was too much for her. I really cannot complement this fine establishment enough for how they made us feel welcome and the hospitality that the team here have to offer! We will DEFINITELY be returning!

We had such a lovely experience here today. Sophie our waitress was outstanding and went over and above to make our visit enjoyable. She is a credit to your team. The food was fantastic and our two boys enjoyed their food too. I love the build your own menu. We will most certainly be back after our next visit to Chester zoo.Thanks Sophie, and a happy new year to you lovely.

Absolutely lovely place to stay. Used this as an overnight stay whilst visiting the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest Experience.Has the main restaurant and pub as the base and our room was situated just outside the pub near to the canal path.Room was fantastic, walk in shower and bed was nice and comfortable to sleep on.Tea, coffee and a biscuit welcomed us.Staff very helpful and friendly.Went for a run before leaving via the canal path to start the day.Definitely recommend.

Room was very nice and comfy. The food was excellent, great Sunday roast. Breakfast was also very enjoyable with a wide range to choose from.

Stayed here overnight in room 5 The Hedgehog. We had a really nice stay and enjoyed a lovely roast dinner (1 x pork belly and 1 x turkey) The food was outstanding and well presented. We then ordered desserts (1 x cheesecake and 1 x chocolate brownie). All washed down with a beautifully prepared baileys coffee. Highly recommended place to stay for those that want a relaxing break and enjoy canal walks during the day. We have been here many times before but the overnight stay, late check out and fantastic food has been one of our best memories to date. Thank you very much to all the staff at the Cheshire Cat.

Great food , nice atmosphere . They seen us straight away , even though we didn't book. They had kids menu, my girls loved the lasagna . Husband loved the lamb with all the roast veg and potatoes . We washed it down with elderflower soda( because we were driving ).
