The Architect in Cheshire West and Chester

Always a great establishment whether for food or drink. Good outside space with undercover seating, outside bar and plenty of tables. Great heaters... work a treat if it's a bit chilly. Lots of lawn areas for children to play on, dog friendly. Great starting place for more drinks in town.

Arguably for me the best all round pub eatery in Chester. Backs onto the racecourse with lovely landscaped gardens .Food and service was excellent,not to mention a wide variety of craft ales.....and not expensive.Would definitely recommend.

We dined here on Sunday....To start off ,the staff are brilliant,very patient and just lovely!Now i cook a roast most Sundays,and am quite good at it!This was by far the best roast in town. We had the mix roast and a nut roast,all beautifully cooked... book early for a gorgeous experience! Be back soon!👍❤

A fantastic experience in the centre of Chester which exceeded all expectations! We have been past this pub numerous times, it's always been busy and we can now see why. The service from the moment we arrived was excellent, not too intrusive but very attentive and everything was explained including a special allergens menu which made us feel both welcome and safe.Excellent selection of local drinks and a varied menu with lots of choice. The quality of food, knowledge and friendliness of the staff plus the impressive building and decor made our experience absolutely perfect. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and will return as soon as we can, special mention to the lovely young Italian lady who served us - thank you 😁

We've long since wanted to come for food at the Architect, having already been fans of the general ambience when we've managed to get a rare free table for a drink. Can safely say it lived up to the high expectations we had. The dining area is so lovely, the service was fantastic. Everyone was very affable and the food was really good. I think our table were really pleasantly surprised by how good the chips were! Will definitely be looking forward to our next meal at the Architect!

I had a lovely meal with my friend there. We both ordered seabass which was delicious. Great location, good service. Will certainly visit again

Only popped in to use their loos and have a courtesy drink, ended up staying for a full Sunday roast! Immaculate place with a great vibe. Good selection of food and drink which was fairly priced for the quality you got. Table staff were a little iffy on their service, hence the 4 stars. Would recommend!

This place was recommended so we visited for a late lunch. Beautiful setting beside the racecourse. Very relaxed atmosphere. Service was superb and the food was delicious. Cannot fault anything. Would encourage anyone who is visiting Chester to find this pub/restaurant. It is a little outside the main part of town but worth the walk.

This place was recommended to us by a knowledgable local. Booking was essential as it’s a popular place and fills up despite its large size. Very good food and drink and helpful friendly staff. We would definitely go again.

Had a fantastic Anniversary meal here this evening. We were welcomed enthusiastically. Bookings were limited due to several staff members having to isolate however it didn’t affect the service one little bit. Every part of our evening was spot on . Seating, Main meal, dessert and coffee along with the service were faultless.Thank you to all at The Architect.
