Lovely hotel, easy to find and plenty of parking. We stayed as a group of six and were all located on the same floor with rooms next to one another. We had a King room, which if I’m being picky was slightly on the small side but had all the amenities we needed. The bed was huge and the mattress comfy but the pillows were awful I didn’t sleep well for the whole weekend and ended up with neck and shoulder pain. The hotel and room we were in was nice and clean, and modern. There was a spa and gym but we didn’t use it. The restaurant was spacious and there was also seating and tables outside for the warmer weather. We ate in the restaurant on our first evening, the food was good as was the service. Breakfast was buffet style and plentiful, perhaps one of the best I’ve been to for quality and choice. Advice would be to go early to avoid having to queue as it’s a busy hotel, especially popular for weddings. Good stay, would definitely stay again but would bring my own pillows!

Came here for a spa-style hen weekend. The food was nice and the staff did a good job looking after us all. The spa was nice with some good facilities, although the treatment session felt a little rushed to me. I wasn't told that my treatment time had been moved, until I asked what the delay was, which I found rather odd. But it wasn't a problem as I was enjoying the complimentary teas and relaxing in the lounge. The room was pleasant, and the facilities included were good, but the sofa bed was not hugely comfortable, although I'd imagine it would be absolutely fine for a child or smaller adult. The breakfast was very nice (special mention for the unusually lovely scrambled eggs!) but I am glad we came down on the earlier side as it got very busy after 9.30 am and there was a queue to be seated.Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, not quite the exceptional 5-star experience but pretty good value for money and certainly enjoyable.

We stayed her for the night having travelled up from London for a wedding.Parking easy and lots, location is great for easy access. When we arrived reception staff was lovely really friendly and welcoming. Our room was as expected in truth, clean, tidy, okay bed, with okay bathroom. There was an element of the bath that just annoyed me. The spot light over the bath didn’t have a surrounding so just an exposed bulb. I know it should silly but it just showed lack of attention to detail and basic upkeep. I imagine it had been like that for months.Breakfast was average at best, and that is being generous. From a cooked breakfast basis, just cooked and left on the side for self service (bacon not crispy, sausages no real colour, eggs warm just).Didn’t experience the spa but did hear from others it is nice.In truth would I return, if I had too and if the price was right. Otherwise lots of option in Chester.

The staff make this hotel! They were so nice and helpful to deal with all week. The hotel itself was nice, the rooms are perfect. My colleague and I stayed 6 nights this week. The gym is really nice, a good selection of machines and the equipment is new/very good condition. Unfortunately we didn't get to try the spa but would definitely stay again. The breakfast and dinner were both great too just book dinner as the restaurant does get busy most days.

Me and my partner stayed here for a short one night break. We stayed in the De Hoole junior suite, which was a brilliant room. Large king size bed, swivel TV and Mirror, Deep bath, a really nice walk in shower. We did not end up using all the services in the hotel and just utilised the amenities in the room and room service. We were friendly greeted at reception on entry and exit of the hotel. Staff were really great from what we saw of them. Room service was brought to our room swiftly once ordered and the food was fantastic. The only negatives from our stay would be that there was no room service food menu in our room (not even on the hotels TV information guide) so this was a small irritation having to look round in search of a menu. A menu was brought up to our room swiftly though once we contacted reception. However getting through to reception/restaurant/spa took quite a long time really, which I also found after booking online when trying to contact the hotel.Overall a fantastic hotel which I would recommend. Spa services looked great despite us not using them. The hotel and grounds look brilliant. They just need to try to resolve the wait times for customers when contacting staff.

Lovely stay here: we got a deal for a set price which included a 4 hour use of the spa, an overnight stay and 3 course dinner as well as breakfast the next morning. Check in was quick & easy and the gifted cookie was tasty! The spa was wonderful - not too big and not too busy, a range of steam rooms to use and a lovely pool. We opted for treatments which were good and staff friendly. The hotel room was clean, perfect size and had everything needed. There was a bit of a wait between courses at the meal and some parts not as appetising as others but overall a pleasant dinner.Breakfast was brilliant, lots of option, attentive staff and comfortable. Overall a lovely stay and would be nice to return again!

I was gifted a spa day for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was an extremely relaxing experience. The staff were all very friendly and professional, the treatment was just what I needed. There is a very well set up spa area, with pre-room and a relaxation room. The pool area had steam rooms, sauna, pool, hydrotherapy pool. We were there for hours, just going round all the different areas. I would definitely recommend this spa.

Well equipped bedroom with a large and really comfortable bed! Completed with a nice TV, lovely toiletries, dressing gowns and black out curtains.I had the same therapist for the three treatments booked. She made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The spa itself was very much a standard Hilton spa, my partner loved using the different steam and aroma rooms whilst I had my treatments.Check in and check out was easy. Staff were friendly and we had warm cookies which was a lovely touch. We dined in the Garden room restaurant for an evening meal and breakfast. Reasonably priced dinner and drinks. Standard cooked breakfast with some lovely touches to the buffet, the yogurt and fruit were lovely! The only negatives were that it was difficult to get hold of the booking team for rooms and spa by phone but it was worth it.

My wife and I had a one night breather following a very busy Christmas before returning to work.We are returning customers and are pleased to say that on the whole the experience was once again lovely. The food was excellent, the wine was nicely chilled and not ridiculously priced. All members of Staff were fluent in English and very friendly.I do however feel compelled to comment on the poor waitresses who’s uniforms were ridiculously short, I’m sure I’m not alone in saying that this is no longer acceptable in today’s society. I’d love to see the management team wearing the same outfits……Housekeeping was on a par with all similar hotels I’ve stopped in since the covid era, doors were sealed and all touch points were properly cleaned. The room was indeed spotless.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They tried to be as accommodating as possible. The rooms and communal areas are clean. The rooms were quiet. Although the rooms are slightly worn, they are updating them and its still really nice. The breakfast was good, and constantly being replenished. We ordered room service, some of the food was very good and the some wasn't as good. The only negative point for our family is that no children under 16 are allowed in the pool. However this is probably a positive for others. When we visited the gym was being refurbished, so we can't comment on what that's like.
