The Carriers Inn Ltd in Cheshire West and Chester

Think we caught this place on a bad day. In the middle of changing ownership. Nevertheless, service was very good. Staff really friendly and helpful! Location brilliant overlooking the lake!

Lovely place with good home cooked food. Staff were friendly and and helpful. We have a motorhome and it is free to stay the night in the car park, which was quite and we had a peaceful nights sleep. This is just down the road from all of the Delamere Forest car parks an attractions so overall a great place to come.

Lovely place to sit in the beer garden. We only stopped by on a hike for a refreshing shandy but will come again to try the food which looks excellent.

Had a fantastic time stopping here in my van in the car park. There was 19 of us eating, all the food was served at the same time and it was all good. The staff really looked after us all 10/10 👍

Went to the Carriers Inn on Sunday for a meal with my Son and Daughter-in-law and my fiancé for my birthday. The food was top quality and plenty of it!! The Staff are lovely and very friendly and can't do enough for the diners. They are attentive without being intrusive! The Carriers is beautifully presented and the atmosphere is conducive to eating a meal in relaxed surroundings. We will definitely be back. Thank you to all at the Carriers Inn for making my birthday special!

Wow, food really was perfection.....service was really good. Had sausage & mash, best I've had for a long time, waiter was so nice, and owner served us, she was lovely. Called in after walk around DELEMERE FORREST, dog friendly. A credit to all staff/owners. Thank you.

Nice pub on edge of Delamere Forest, overlooking Hatchmere. Friendly welcome and good service. Delicious food which is definitely much better than your usual selection of pub grub. Outdoor seating available, dog friendly.

Amazing visit to The Carriers Inn after a walk in Delamere Forest. Fantastic hosts, superb quality food at really reasonable prices. Steak & Ale Pie and Fish Pie were brilliant.Newly decorated with a lovely, new garden room and plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the Mere.This is a must stop if you are spending time in the forest.Can not recommend highly enough.Well done to everyone at The Carriers Inn.

Fab menu - just what you want to see on a pub menu! Super focused and there were lots of options I could have chosen. I was feeling somewhat worse for wear so I chose the Steak Pie which was small but perfectly formed and more than enough! The chips, veg and gravy were also well executed. Stephen had the fish and chips and loved it. As you can see from the pictures it looked fabulous. We will be back!

We called in yesterday during a long walk around Delamere forest. The owners were very welcoming and it was lovely to be able to chat to Suzanne about the pub and the area in general. She had lots of time for us and was genuinely interested in our views. We enjoyed an great, piping hot, meal that was reasonably priced. An excellent pub if visiting Delamere.
