The Church Bar & Restaurant in Cheshire West and Chester

Beautiful restaurant/bar infused into a church next to the Grovesnor Shopping Centre in Chester. Lots to look at and very intriguing the way its been constructed. Food is basic pub grub and tasty and a variety of drinks amazing priced! The outdoor terrace is a fabulous place to have a drink in the sun and has it's own bar outside with table service. Definitely worth a visit!

Great architecture and layout. As bars go they have done really well to create a modern look within an old setting.Plenty of cocktails and deals as well as the usual drinks. Great for intimate meetings or for larger groups.Recommended if in the area.

We were on a pub crawl when one of our friends suggested this place and it was lovely they have a guy playing live music and he had an amazing voice. Made our night so much better.

Overpriced and I've never been anywhere where the staff are so disengaged and unhappy to be there. No smiles. No hi, no welcome. Drinks OK but again massively overpriced. Haven't eaten here so can't comment on that. Venue pretty and outside area cute

They dealt brilliantly with a large number of loud women. The mussels were lovely but the steak was very tough. A lovely setting too. Didn't complain about the steak as they had to deal with us lot 🙄

If you want to spend time enjoying good food and fine wine in lovely surroundings the Church is the place. We were met by one of the waitresses and shown to our table,high up overlooking the well stocked bar.We were well looked after by all the girls and we had a great afternoon.The food which was only going to be a snack turned into a feast, amazing.The chuch itself was so interesting to see and all the work done was great.Well worth a visit.

Always had a good time in here. The atmosphere is good and it has a good vibe. Toilets could do with a bit of a make over, no hand soap and no locks. Plenty of urine on the floor of the cubicles on a Friday night.

Amazing location, really well done inside and the outdoor area really well thought out with its own bar, and heaters (not needed this time as it was a really warm evening). Extensive cocktail menu, will definitely be back to try more. Didn't try the food so can't comment on that.
