Beautiful Cheshire with friendly staff, and a super selection of Joseph Holt beers and ales, their stouts are the best you will find outside of Irish stouts, really smooth.

Oh dear.. trainee chef in on her own with no supervision.. everything came out burnt.. would go again though as pub and staff were supper lovely x

Sunday roast was good, choice of Beef, ham or turkey or mixed, which I had, we both had the banoffe Sunday which was really good. I'd give the place a go if you're in the area.

Went Wednesday 13th for a catch up with a friend, very long wait for food to come out but staff explained a party of 30 decided they wanted food and not just drinks which put all under pressure. When the food did come out it was lovely. The waiting staff could not have worked harder or done more, they kept us informed and kept apologising just unfortunately one of of those things. Sorry did not get their names but they gave fantastic customer service so please give them a big thank you. Has not put us off coming again. We'll done guys

Lovely pub! We booked a table of 6 including children and a dog - the staff couldnt have been more helpful! The food was lovely and well priced. It had a very warm, country vibe about it. Cant wait to go back. Aidan was especially helpful. Thank you.

The public house is in a lovely location with out door seating at the rear and the side. In the summer a must, it is also dog friendly. No troubles parking for any person. Not crowded on the occasion I was there, no need to book. Meal menu was adequate, but not extensive. Prices competitive and the food was very good. Did not really see the beer or ales. Well worth another visit.

Enjoyed an excellent Sunday roast today Jan 16. Friendly staff table sanitised and good value for money. Will definitely visit again when next in this neck of the woods.

Excellent food,drink &service.Great value with generous portions.The food we ordered was the fillet steak hanging kebab which was delicious.
