The Codfather in Cheshire West and Chester

Worse fish and chips I ve ever had .the chips were so greasy and the fish batter was very greasy and the fish was watery inside very disappointed as I have always loved the food from here. .

We had fish and chips, absolutely lovely food, and piping hot. Very reasonably priced. Polite staff. Would go there again. Highly recommend 👌

Excellent food, one of the best fish and chips around. Always enjoy it.

Never been here before but today I thought I’d try it…well no customer service whatsoever the food wasn’t even hot and was very bland…the brown haired girl had a right stoney face! Don’t waste you’re money folks it’s aload of rubbish

Beautiful traditional fish and chips, really loved having dinner from here on Friday absolutely lively food

Great gluten free fish and chips for my wife who is coeliac. All the girls serving were lovely and polite, will certainly be back!

Always call into the Codfather whenever I work up this way. Brilliant food, everything cooked fresh to order, the fish is beautiful. Staff lovely and very helpful despite being very busy. Cheers

We had one large chips and curry sauce to share between two adults - lovely spicy sauce and good chips, though a large is a bit smaller than we're used to sharing from elsewhere. That said, we're quite satisfied, and it's probably better than being overloaded by the monstrous portions some chippies do! We prefer when fish and chips come in paper or card, rather than polystyrene.

Well overrated, chips were ok, the best thing about it was the batter on the fish that was nice but but the fish itself was watery and tasteless, the peas tasted watered down too, shame the only thing that made it edible was the tartar sauce.

Just had fish and chips peas and curry, very nice will be back 👍
