Excellent food at an excellent price

Fab food, quality, portion size, choice and price. Try their family meal deal if you like variety, even if just a greedy couple like us!

Excellent food and great prices served by happy staff. What more could you want. Kerp it up guys.

Love it,I'm not from the area but this is my 1st choice chippy.cheap and delicious

Fantastic service and fantastic food. As always

Just ate from here for the first time. Absolutely fantastic food at a great price. Lovely staff too. Would highly recommend this tucked away little gem.

This is now my go to chippy. Nicer than all the others, lives up to the best chipshop in Cheshire accolade, simple old school menu, amazing value, fantastic customer service from the ladies serving. What more can actually be asked.

I was disappointed after reading the reviews I found it expensive for the portion size with difficult on street parking. I travel the north west and review traditional chip shops that I come across. My review is only a snapshot on that day but I try to be very honest and say as I find. The portion size was small and the fish was oily, the batter on the fish was a golden colour and crispy the food was in a polystyrene container and handed to me in a plastic bag not what some chip shops are still doing due to environmental impact of the disposal of the waste. Chips are the cheapest part of the meal and the portion size should have been slightly bigger. The chips were however tasty and were crisp on the outside, they were slightly under seasoned (salt and vinegar) but that’s okay as you can add extra but can’t take it away! Friendly staff who cooked the fish to order. The chippy had good covid19 protection and guidelines and staff wore a mask all the time.
