Absolutely fabulous food. Amazing gin selection. All locally sourced. Had the duck with rhubarb ketchup...they slayed it. Awards match the experience.

Lovely menu. A small but pleasant range of cocktails. The cosy shed makes a lovely drinking nook for a small party. Service was quick today and a quite ambitious pub menu

Nipped in for a quick half. Prompt, efficient service. Had 2 choices of handpulled cask beers - Salopian Lemon Dream and the Cheshire brewed Eastgate Amber Ale from Weetwood Ales. Had the latter beer and it was good. Stylish decor. Outdoor courtyard seating. Would call in again.

One of the best bar meals I have had..... anywhere!!. Delicious 'proper' beef pie with smooth, creamy mashed potato and vegetables. Decent real ales and a good atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice, chilled environment. Food was very tasty as was the house red. Just a nice place to spend your Sunday. You won't go home hungry after the Sunday lunch, that's for sure. Definitely recommended.

Husband and I went tonight for the steak night. Had a few disappointing ones over the last year. I must say it was the best steak we've had that I haven't had to cook for years. Huge thankyou to the chef. Staff were friendly. Thank you xx

We had to book in advance as we couldn't get a table the previous evening. Only in the area for 3 days so we relied on Google maps reviews and weren't disappointed. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Food was delicious, beautifully presented and good value for money. I had the salmon with summer veg risotto, hubby had the sea bass, both were excellent with generous portions. Covid safe layout of tables and table service.

We went to The Faulkner for their French tapas style night for Bastille Day on the 14th July. The food was delicious and wonderfully presented. The service was attentive and friendly but not intrusive. A wide variety of drinks and recommendations on what drinks went with what dishes was a nice touch. The only thing missing was a little bit of French background music to really give it that Frenchy ambience. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

I would recommend booking before arriving for a Sunday roast as this place was absolutely buzzing! The soup of the day was melt in your mouth delicious and flavoured perfectly! We tried the chicken, pork and beef roasts. They were equally amazing. I preferred the chicken as it came with crispy skin. The pork came with wonderful crackling if that's your bag. You cannot leave here without having pudding. The brownie, cheesecake and toffee pudding were out of this world. The kitchen is on point with timing and the wait staff did them proud despite how busy it was. Lovely, warm, welcoming and worth a visit for sure. You won't regret it!
