The Fishpool Inn in Cheshire West and Chester

Beautiful food..excellent staff...no complaints at all.During our lunch we had the pleasure of being served by four members of staff who all took the time to speak to us and engage in conversation, whilst diligently doing what waiters do. Seemed genuinely interested in how our experience was panning out. Would be a regulars if we didn't live 2 hours away.

A very nice contemporary country pub. Efficient and friendly staff. Clean facilities (the only toilets I came across were upstairs worth checking if you have mobility issues that there are some downstairs). Delicious food. Plenty of choice and both the main and children's menu. Highly recommended.

Haven't been for a while so we felt it time for a return. Ordered cream teas for 2 and arrived there a little early. A beautiful cake stand arrived laden with lovely assorted sandwiches, a mix of yummy cakes, massive scones (jam & clotted cream) to finish off. Oh and 2 pots of enjoyable tea! Now very full and satisfied!

Had an absolutely fabulous lunch, the food was amazing!We shared a hummus flatbread to start, it was huge and really tasty.Then had the small fish and chips, that really couldn't be called small!A friend had the pie and chips, that was absolutely delicious. The pie was enormous, with lovely thick juicy pieces of steak and gravy.I had a brownie sundae for dessert, it was really yummy and the chocolate brownie was amazing too!There was even a menu for dogs to have a dinner!!Can't wait to go back!

Absolutely amazing mothers day meal at the Fishpool Inn. 3 delicious courses every mouthful was just divine. Cant wait to return in the future

Absolutely fabulous. We had a block booking of 14 and submitted our food order 3 days before. Upon arrival the Christmas decorations was stunning and made a fantastic backdrop for our photographs which the staff were only too pleased to help with. The Christmas menu was a reasonable price however I did think the price for alcohol was a bit expensive. The food itself was top draw and and was delivered without a hitch because of the pre-order. Top marks to the professionalism of the staf and we will be booking Christmas next year again as well as other occasions throughout the year.Thank you

Just nipped in with wife for a cuppa and to give the place a look. Since we are going to be here for Christmas dinner with friends.It is a beautiful place to the eye and the smell of the food is amazing, so looks like we are heading for a great experience.The staff, VERY helpful and polite.

Without a doubt the best food we've ever had at a pub/Inn.. and we have been alot of places! 10/10, will definatley back in the near future.

Cocktail was nice. Drove over an hour here with my partner, child and parents. My parents were raving about this place but when we arrived we requested my child's meal come out first. From time of order we waited 1 hour for childrens chicken nuggets as they forgot his meal. The whole table had eaten before his meal even came out so we all had to share our plates with him. Forgetting a child's meal is a bit unacceptable. My dad also had to send back his fish back as it wasn't cooked on the inside. We were all really disappointed considering the drive plus my parents were so excited to take us here but the meal was a letdown. The manager did take the fish and the kids meal off the tab but still paid over 100 pounds for a very mediocre dinner and unhappy experience. Apparently the head chef doesn't work there any more. This was very obvious to my mom who said the chef must have changed the minute the food came out. 😒

Popped in by chance after looking at a local wedding venue and we were totally blown away! Doesn't look that impressive from outside but inside is amazing! Lots of quirky decor which is backed up by friendly staff, amazing food and good drinks. Be warned though the menu looks so good you'll want to try it all so you won't just go there the once! We will be back next time driving this way 😁
