Stayed in our motorhome overnight. Unfortunately arrived too late for food but enjoyed an evening of good drink and conversation with the landlord and some friendly locals.

We come here once a week for a drink (as we don’t live close) but have never had any food here until today!Food was delicious, piping hot, generous portions. Between us we had steak and ale pie, beef roast and children’s nuggets and chips, as well as starters and dessert! Everything was home made and as mentioned such generous portions!Staff as always were lovely, hospitable and friendly. We just wish we lived closer as it would definitely be our local! Even our puppy got a treat to enjoy whilst we were eating! We will be back ☺️

Great outside seating if the weather's good. Local beers enjoyable

I really hope they have enough business. We stopped off here for some food and were amazed with the quality of service and food. With two fussy children they are very picky with what they eat. Both of them ate nearly all of their food! We will happily go here again. The place did seem quiet and I honestly believe its nothing to do with the staff or food quality! It's obviously nice as a customer, however I really hope this place has enough to keep afloat.

Popped in for Sunday lunch. Wasn't busy but was told we might just fit you in. Ordered the lamb shank and beef roast dinner. Took an age to arrive. The beef was overcooked and tough and the lamb shank didn't fall off the bone and looked microwaved. £38.00 for 2 meals and 2 drinks. Waitresses were polite and attentive but wouldn't recommend. Sorry

I ordered the braised beef shortrib pictured. There was a tiny bit of tough dry meat and the potatoes were covered in an awful cheese sauce. I complained immediately. They discounted the price but didn't offer to remove completely from the bill. The steak pie was decent enough. The roast dinner was poorly cooked and had little meat. The pizza also had some strange tasting cheese on it which my daughter (who usually loves pizza and proper cheese) refused scraped off.

Nice pub, as a none drinker I was disappointed to be asked £1.60 for a half of soda water which is usually free in pubs. So I had an orange juice which cost more but at least cost something to buy in

Lovely village pub and restaurant that is dog friendly. As we had a dog we had to sit in the bar fireplace room, the fire wasn’t on unfortunately however the candles and pretty fairy lights made up for it to make it all cosy. The staff were really lovely and made us feel very welcome. We had a nice table to enjoy our meal. The owner even kindly brought our dog treats. The food was good, the service was good and the decor was perfect for a cosy village pub. Thank you for making our evening so pleasant and I would definitely recommend this dog friendly restaurant to anyone in the area.

Returned to The Plough last night and we had a very tasty meal. Very pleasant staff looked after us well!Tasted the guest draft beer Neck Oil and wow lovely, very fresh and zesty.Would’ve stayed longer but too full with Cajun chicken wings followed by a hearty steak and ale pie and lush gravy 😋😋Will return soon ☺️👌🏼⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Would be a 3.8 if I could score that.. Food was ok. My brownie was really hard so couldnt eat it but my friend's was fine, she really liked it. We had Moroccan lamb and rendang. Hand sanitizer didnt seem to be working, I pumped it around 4 times and nothing came out but thankfully I had my own. Staff were gloves. No track or trace that I was aware of but staff were pleasant
