The Saddle Inn in Cheshire West and Chester

Amazing place.It's a rock bar and an Inn.The decor is fantastic, the staff are amazing, thr selection is out of this world... stella(r)!They do karaoke and have live gigs too!Best place in town hands down.

Haven't stayed there personally but have friends who have and love it. Amazing atmosphere, very welcoming to all folks , music on all the time, karaoke Fridays, excellent beer and excellent friendly place.

Stumbled across this place when looking online for somewhere to stay for a night while visiting for my daughter's 21st birthday. We're all fans of rock music so a hotel with rock band themed rooms and a rock bar downstairs really ticked all the boxes for usStaff were very friendly, rooms were great (we booked the Metallica room and the AC/DC room), very spacious and comfortable. They even decorated my daughter's room with some balloons, a banner and a card which we hadn't arranged so that was a very thoughtful, pleasant surprise!Great atmosphere in the bar where there was an open-mike night with various people getting up and playing some great songs.We had breakfast the next morning and that was lovely too.We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this place to anyone, especially if they liked rock music. We would definitely stay here again.Thanks to all the staff for making it a very enjoyable stay.

Stayed here last Sunday 3rd April and we were upgraded to Metallica room! Really nice cosy pub and great atmosphere. Had lunch and a few pints before hitting the town. Great ale,food and hospitality. We will be returning. Well recommended. Well done to owners and staff

Enjoyed a fantastic Valentines two night stay at the Saddle Inn. Wonderful service, fantastic staff, so welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Loved the themed rooms and the Sunday afternoon entertainment was great. Would recommend this as a lovely place to stay and right in the city centre so can walk to all the sights, shopping and everything that is going on in Chester. What a great rock pub .we stayed in the ac/dc room for a couple of days and loved it ,,breakfast was really nice .and all the staff were really freindly and obliging .even allowed us behind the bar so we could have our photo took by the brilliant guitar pumps.... we will definitely be back to stay again and watch one of the great live bands..

Really good atmosphere on a Friday night and the karaoke singers were fantastic. Would love the guy with the incredibly deep voice to do Johnny Cash next time. In to watch the football which was still on, just without commentary.

Came here for a Xmas party with a group of friends. Staff supplied the most wonderful buffet, the food was so yummy. We had our own part of the pub so we could all sit together. Had live music all night and all the staff were so friendly and so welcoming. Love the decor and the vibe of the place. Having a pool table is a bonus as you don't get to see so many about now. Love the outdoor seating area too. Lovely quirky place to go visit for food and drinks.

Probably the most relaxing environment of any bar in Chester. Everyone is awesome. Lee is an awesome owner! Sophie and autumn are 2 of the most down to earth bar staff I've ever come across. Rock bars are not normally my scene but spending new year with great company was brilliant 100% going back 👏

We enjoyed ourselves in this pub and hotel. It is great location close to overnight parking and centre. Breakfast was good size and tasty. Rooms were big and clean, only negative point was shower head in bathroom wasn't cleaned properly. Bedding and towels were so,so clean so I think this was just overlooked. Great owners and we bought T shirts to remind us of this great weekend.
