We went for bottomless brunch on bank holiday and were served by Ellie! Truly such amazing service and Ellie was so lovely and accommodating - always checking in and making sure the drinks were filled and that we were having a good time. Amazing service and a lovely brunch :)

Great place in Chester, was nice to sit outside to eat and drink. Usual fast service. Only one setback - no decaf coffee available

Came here with my partner for a quick bite and drink. After the first 2 cocktails, we said to the bar guy just whip up something for us 😅 well what ever he did we ended drinking more than expected!!! Big thank you to Tom W, great service and great cocktails!! Will be back when we visit Chester next time.

Took my mum here for Mother's Day and WOW was I impressed. The level of customer service, attentiveness of the server (who I believe was the Manager) and the food was gorgeous, such good value for money and the atmosphere was lovely. It says on the menu for the tipsy afternoon tea that you get 2 glasses of prosecco each but our server went above and beyond and topped up our glasses regularly. I can honestly say we never had an empty glass the entire 1.5 hours we spent there! I can genuinely say I've never had such exceptional customer service, particularly at a venue like Slug and Lettuce, and our server (the Manager I think) is both a testament to this individual venue and the wider business. Phenomenal.

Great place to eat, especially on an evening when the atmosphere is really energetic. Situated at the lower end of Chester high street, near other eateries and the boutique stores. Great choice of food, clean, comfortable surroundings, huge range of drinks. Their cocktail tree looked amazing. We enjoyed a sharing meal, which was very tasty and great value. Unlike other venues recently visited, they should be commended for amount of staff on and quick friendly service. Would definitely use again.

My partner and I came for a bottomless brunch on Saturday and it was wonderful. The numerous options of drinks included was great (although a bloody Mary not so much) and the food was really good too. For a Saturday, service was quick and staff were really friendly, a special thanks to Ellie who kept our drinks topped up and made sure we had an enjoyable time. We will definitely be coming again.

What a shambles. For a place in such a premium location the staff where far from the best. Baffles me how the place makes a profit, staffed by children with a ‘manager’ mincing about the place and not taking control. They had no ice. On a Saturday night. The ‘two for one cocktails’ filled one glass.Cocktails tasted awful. Table service needed prompting at the bar after 20 mins to get it moving. The place is a badly managed joke and desperately needs some stonegate senior management to go and get a grip of it before Chester ends up with another empty unit

I came in for lunch today with my friends and was served by Ellie. She was very friendly and cheerful. She made sure we had everything we needed and constantly went out of her way to help us. She is a great asset to your team!

Bottomless brunch overpriced and disappointing, mediocre quality food and a very limited choice of drinks (not even wine or orange juice!) in chain pub surroundings. Staff friendly but have very little flexibility to make changes to set menu options to ensure everyone in a party has a good experience. Too expensive for what it is. Messed my bill up and nearly overcharged me by £25, took a long time to bring the correct bill.

We visited for lunch and again for drinks on a quiet Thursday evening. The staff were chatty and attentive, the food good and drinks even better. Good prices here too. Massive selection of drinks and cracking cocktail offers. Recommended!
