Visited this pub on the way back to the railway station 🚉. Big outdoor seating at one side and loads of room inside. If there is a sports match on you will be able to see 👀 it because there's that many televisions 📺 all over the place 😉. Good selection of beers 🍻 and food as well, good sized bar 🍸 area and well staffed.

We came here today and have to say food was good, came quick stayed to watch the football partners choice. Reasonably priced considering how close to the train station it was. Honestly the staff were so friendly and well mannered will be back at some point.

Had a lovely couple of hours on the decking. Plenty tables and chairs. Didn’t try the food but the plates going past looked lovely and empty on way back to kitchen. Charlotte, Shannon, Richard and Ffion were great servers, genuinely friendly and good sense of humour, quick service and reasonable prices. Only downside was I got stuck with the resident drunk besmirching coffee drinkers 🤦‍♀️🤣🤣. Will definitely go back on next visit to Chester 👍

Everything was great. Service really stood out for me, Tom was exceptional in his manner and the way he attended to us. Absolute credit to the town crier. Will definitely be returning👌

One of the best pocket friendly pubs in the city. I love the starters here and their 5 starter platter for £11.99 is definitely an amazing deal. Friendly staff and a frequent place I often choose to visit to hangout with my friends.

Went in for drinks, very disappointed. Starting with very little in Gin selection, then no ice available. Drink was served in a tumbler, not a Gin glass. Then worse of all, the glass had disgusting lipstick marks on it. Had to get it changed. It's a good space ideally situated, just needs some TLC.

We had dinner at the town crier after arriving in Chester on the train. Food was OK. Our server, Alfie, was really friendly and kind. Thank you Alfie, for making our night lovely!

I ordered a breakfast at the bar and I payed using my phone. Everything was fine but the bartender come at the table and said that the payment didn't work and ask me to pay again. I asked why it didn't work and just sais that I have to trust him. I've done it but 2 days after, I was charged twice by this guy. Completely dishonest. I don't recommend at all.
