Staff were very friendly. Wes I think his name was was very accommodating and attentive. Food was nice and a good selection of drinks were offered. My work colleague and I had the carvery -which was lovely. The pub was clean and welcoming

First time in a Stonehouse eatery, not sure what to expect. Needed to ask about ordering at the bar. Everything explained by very pleasant bar staff and chef. Delighted by what was available. Food was well cooked and enjoyable. Would definitely visit again, in fact will do so tonight.

Staff fantastic and food brilliant couldn’t fault anything. Staying in a four star hotel which was diabolical seen this pub passing and popped in.So glad we did and a lady called Lesley very helpful, and so we’re all the other staff sorry couldn’t remember their names. We called for evening food, brilliant service. Cancelled breakfast at hotel and for £5.49 buffet breakfast here it was much better and tasty. Topped the day of Better with staff being supper friendly. Thank you so much even little thinks like toilet doors saying brilliant boys and gifted girls, little things make your day feel good.

Decent enough and friendly staff. Seems a shame they're never that busy so the carvery suffers from lack of turnover (dries out under the lamps). Very limited selection of beers so if you enjoy a nice ale unfortunately Guinness will be your go to 🙄. If I was local it wouldn't make a beeline for it but it fills the gap if you're hungry. Not sure what to say about increasing midweek custom as does seem strange they have a carvery at all (and risk bad reviews), but even 'good' carveries are never really that good 🤷. Would be nice to see a decent ale or two on tap 👍 ***NB may be different at weekends, I've only ever been during the week/evenings***

Rude looking butter! But you certainly can't say that about the staff who were wonderful to us and other customers. We called in almost at random while passing by. Staff found us a table without fuss and we ordered from the menu as opposed for the carvery. The food was as you would expect from this type of carvery outlet and price point. It's not spectacular, but perfectly good for the money and setting. The staff however were absolutely brilliant, welcoming, friendly and genuine. It only loses marks for no baby-change table in the gents (that I used) it's 2022 folks.

Food was gorgeous with a good range of vegetarian options. Every single staff member was incredibly helpful, happy to help and seemed happy in their working environment. It was brilliant to see and we'll definitely be back based on the service we received! Thank you!

Lovely staff, reasonable prices and a very helpful app for ordering! And the food... well, you can check my other reviews to make sure I'm not exaggerating when I say this... was the best food I have EVER eaten. Hats off to the chef 🙌

Brilliant carvery for cheap price. Staff (a young girl and lad in black) were lovely and easy to have a laugh with and the chefs were very talkative when serving us. Felt like a proper family pub

Stopped in for a bit to eat after a trip to Chester Zoo and had a good time. Staff were very friendly and food was at the better end what you'd expect for a chain pub. Prices were reasonable but sadly they had no draft ales on. Would recommend for a solid meal
