Good local boozer with a selection of beer and ales, friendly staff, bagatelle and darts, with pictures of Chester's history.

Absolute gem of a pub..friendly locals. Old school boozer with great attentive bar staff...free juke box and sing along galore....wish I lived near here !!!!!!

Nice little place, tardis like. Not been in here for a long time but still has the same charm. Decent beer and space for a fair few people.

Back street pub run by a lovely couple. Great environment and prices. Also has one of the very few Bagatelle pool tables in Chester.

Stumbled upon this old "proper pub" by accident. Nice ambiance and tucked away a little from the main drag. Hope it stays like it is and does not become "modernized"

Love this little back street pub, staff are all fun and happy people, and I like that's its cash only means you can tip the staff direct for their service Last time I was in, there was a funeral party in, who expressed their kindness by saying they'd be back lol

Found this little gem of a pub by pure chance. What a find. A small local pub with a big heart. Learnt to play bagatelle. Just lost out to Chesters No 1. Great crowd thanks to all for welcoming us. Kevin deserves a special mention for his 'dancing moves'.. we really enjoyed our time in here. See you next year. Ken and Carl
