Absolutely loved this pub, so old and interesting, lunch was really nice and the staff were lovely

Very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, amazing place full of historical interest the venue is like a TARDIS from the entrance off the main Street it opens up draws you in and goes on an on with its medieval architecture,a good sized bar,food and drinks menu's have a vast choice to suit everyone,didn't sample food this time but will definitely sample next time after seeing some of the quality food coming out of the kitchen.

Very nice cosy, plenty of tables to sit down on Saturday afternoon. Price wise: £5 per pint of beer . Has its own cosy town atmosphere, of visiting worth stopping by for a drink.

Cannot fault the food in general or the service..11 guests for food and drink probably spent in the region of £200 in there only problem was there was no butter on our bread I know it may sound petty but we spent the extra money and we ordered the big fish and chips meal because of the extras it came with curry sauce scampi and the bread and butter...I understand things happen and yes possibly they had unexpectedly run out of butter but tell us don't just put two pieces of very dry bread on our plates and say nothing even when I asked the manager he said hmm we've run out sorry I asked could they not of popped to the shop across the road he said no because of allergies he could of asked if we had allergies and would of been told no with eleven people drinking and dining I would of thought the effort would of been worth it

Nice pub good service on drinks anyway didnt try tge food.

Great little place. Friendly staff, quick service. Ordered some sides (chips and onion rings) both came out quite quickly and were good to eat.

Great old pub with lots of character. Good atmosphere and friendly staff. Good variety of food catering well for vegetarians and vegan. Would definitely recommend.

Such a beautifully charismatic pub. The staff are so friendly and chatty and seem like really nice people. The atmosphere is amazing, it has a very "olde town" vibe and is very warm and welcoming. Would absolutely recommend anyone to come to this pub.
