Asda is a huge supermarket around the big lamp in Chorley. It has huge parking area. It has two ATM machines outside. It's not as posh as a big Tesco in Euxton. The shelves are organised, but if your new to this store it may be confusing. The isles are wide. It has a cafe too. And passport photo booth machine. The store has huge range of foods. Lots of slimming foods are available when you know where they are. It can sell computer keyboards and blank DVD's. If you need ordinary specs, I bought 2 type for £6. It sells many fashionable clothes which are linked to the seasons. It's all on one level, not like Tesco having two levels. There are many tills for cash and card payments, and also in which you scan foods when you go around. Just note, Aldi is cheaper for smaller range.

Not nice to say but I truly only use it as last resort now as never no tills on and yesterday went in most shelves was empty even heard a conversation on the mixer drinks aisle of 2 people not dreesed in uniform so expect they was some sort of area management saying how bad it was didn't care who could hear then which wasn't very good customer service skills so come on Asda get more staff on tillsNot 😏 everybody likes self service and queing forever

DREADFUL STAFF ATTITUDE ENCOUNTERED 28 May 2021We have had a few of poor experiences at this store over they years, but it is conveniently local. The latest was the final straw was an attitude of a checkout woman that has made us decide to try shopping elsewhere.RECEIPT DETAILSSat 11:28:02 28 May 2021ST 04364OP 000521TE 06TR 07439A member checkout staff with a truly dreadful attitude to customers.First she was taking a really really long time to process items while having a personal drawn out conversation about holidays and mountain climbing with a customer she obviously knew. She did this despite there being a queue at her till. Then she practically throw our items through the checkout with hardly a glimmer of acknowledgement. On reflection the situation was farcical. Then she had some kind of huff and adopted a passive aggressive attitude that she was going to make everything difficult as she could at checkout. The young hopefully inexperienced dark harried female cashier was not wearing a name badge.Their Customer Service Desk personnel prove a waste of time being both apathetic and unhelpful. We will avoid using this store for a while and try out some of the competition with hopeful a less nepotistic attitude to customer service.Receipt header information is out of date mentioning Steph Hill as the store manager, now apparently Andy Marsden.

found shop after getting stuck in traffic on M6 and being diverted off motorway . Went into cafe as we hadnt eaten/drank for a few hours . As my wife is diabetic she was in danger of collapsing . We asked at the counter and Angela said she would put on some chips and scampi for us . Boy did it taste good . She explained that she was closing but she went above and beyond . This happened at 17.40.43 on the 8 April 2022. I said I would pass on our thanks - PLEASE DO THANKS VERY MUCH .

Visited today and my husband wasn't very well a lovely lady called Denise in the cafe was very understanding very sympathetic and very helpful tended to mine and husband's situation with the upmost care and brought us drinks and food. Huge thank you to her. A bigention also to Alison on the customer check out very helpful also went above and beyond to help offered to call police and an ambulance for us but we didn't require them but thanked her politely. These 2 ladies deserve recognition.

Home for George brand products. Well organised store, everything easy to find. Staff members always extremely helpful. There is recycling point for old clothes and shoes on the parking lot.

Lovely Asda, great staff. Good selection of homeware. However, the amount of people parking in child spaces without children is ridiculous. Every time I have been here, there are at least 2 people who blatantly park in these spaces, sort it out Asda!
