Food not bad, typical pub food, staff very friendly and helpful.

Excellent service, good selection of drinks, the food was served promptly and very reasonably priced.

Food was excellent not much time between ordering the food till it arrived piping hot at the table can't fault it

Having spent a great Xmas Eve at the Bay, and again last night I wanted to say huge thanks to Pete and the team, the balance of busy pub atmosphere and being covid aware is a challenging one to get right, and the team at the Bay do it well, even with staff off due to illness. Heartily recommend a proper local pub and looking forward to going back on New Years with the family.

It was nice to see a pub packed to the point of not being able to move. Only down side is that no Covid rules where put in place. I wouldn't be surprised if there will be an outbreak from that place. I do agree we should carry on but at the same time protect each other from ruining Christmas.

Ignore the 1-star reviews. Staff & business are following Government protocol in regards to Covid and always have done! Always enjoy a fresh cold pint here and friendly service.

This is a pub close to my mother's, I have obviously drank in here many times over the years. Tuesday was the first day I'd eaten here for many years, it's was burger day and for £5.99 you got a burger and chips with a drink. I have to say this made me worry about quality! I ordered the triple chicken burger, which was a chicken breast, pulled chicken and a piece of southern fried chicken on it which was superb ! My mother had the surf and turf one (beef and scampi) which she said was excellent. Overall a superb lunch at an amazing price, staff all really nice and helpful. Will definitely be back, seems like they have a deal everyday.
