Bowen pies in Chorley

We ordered butter pies for a birthday celebration in the office. I was slightly late placing the order and contacted Bowen Pies directly. Paul was incredibly helpful and expedited the order and we are all now converts to butter pies;-). Thanks again...fantastic pies and amazing customer service

What can I say? Phenomenal little bakery! Those sausage rolls are to die for! Whoever makes those has a real special talent! Pastry is nice and puffed and the sausage meat is flavoured just right, I would personally like a herb or something added to add that extra pazaz but that’s just my personal preference. Really do like the chicken balti pies too, the filling would be great used in a curry 😍 you should open your cafe up again so we can sit inside and feast on Pie&Mash or ChickenBaltiCurry!

Delicious, we got an assortment of hot pies to feed some visitors, no complaints from anyone, good hot tasty food

Had an amazing sandwich today cheese salad ! Bread was a door stopper ingredients over filled I could of cut in half & lasted a day but I was that greedy I eat it all ! So fresh the lady was kind and fantastic customer service ! If there again I would go again ! Hope you open one in Stalybridge!

I ordered a selection of pies for my father’s birthday. I found that everything was at a very high standard, including the quality, delivery service and customer service. Couldn’t fault it. 10/10.

I bought several pies as a gift for a friend who is self isolating and lives alone. I made a mistake putting my own address for delivery. When I contacted Bowen Pies they were extremely helpful and he loves the pies, said best he had tasted. Thank you

Only get your pies now and again but each time the pastry has been raw, especially on the bottom. It's way too thick, needs to be thinner and then it might cook better. My husband thought he'd try a sausage roll thinking the pastry would be cooked more evenly but even that was raw. They end up in the bin!

Saw the reviews and was in area collecting something, thought the pies would be amazing, with such great reviews and also award winning. Really disappointed though, we had to chunky steak pies, the actual pastry was lovely, the gravy was OK however under seasoned, the steak itself, 5 small bits of steak, tough, chewy and some which were just hard fat! Really didn't enjoy it, so disappointed, nor sure if we just had the only two bad pies/off day.

Absolutely love, love, love these pies. Excellent quality and the Meat and Potatoe are amazing. Highly recommend

get your pies at Bowens. I loved them. especially steak and potato. I bought a whist, a chicken, chunky steak and every single pie was georgous! as a visiter to England I really appreciate your lovely pies. hoping we get a US/UK trade deal so I can get these gastronomic wonders closer to home.
