Been coming for years and still think its a great spot for a good quality coffee or cup of tea and a home made cake or traybake. Their food prices however are insane, costing for example £11 for a cheese scone. Whilst I know its never JUST a cheese scone with Spring Cottage I think they are pricing themselves out of their market. So best of luck but we will only be coming for cake and coffee until we see prices reduced.

Oh dear....the prices here have gone through the roof, and to add insult to injury, they added 10% service charge to our bill!!! Not impressed. I would've tipped anyway! Food is still great but £13 for soup and a slice of cheese on toast, and £16 for 1 slice of avocado and feta cheese on sourdough?!?!!! We'll be going to the barn or Little tea room in future (sadly that's only open on a Sunday) Cafe at Spring Cottage probably concentrating on events to bring in the ££ and has begun to price itself out of the market now times are tougher for people. Shame.

Definitely it was worth it to stop here for coffee and breakfast. You can feel that this place is run by people with passion and it can be seen on photographs as proof. It was my first but not last time here, thank you!

Took my husband for a treat for lunch as he'd never been. Lovely little place, big selection of hot drinks including mulled cider and wine through the colder months. Small menu, although great for me as I'm so Indecisive! I went for an an apple and cinnamon tea and Shakshuka with chorizo. Tea was lovely, sweet and comforting for a wet and cold day. The Shakshuka was a large hearty portion with a beautiful wedge of rosemary bread. Really really enjoyed it. The only reason for 4 stars is service was quite slow, and for a 1.45 booking we only just made it out in time for the school run! I will absolutely be going back though!

Am going to let the photos do the talking but just to add it is better to book before you go.

Really delicious food that looked amazing, coffee was really nice too as was the service.Only slight disappointment might be the choice but what they do they do amazingly. Definitely try it if you are passing.

Amazing lunch, the strawberry salad was the best salad I have ever had and possibly one of the best lunches. My husband loved his ploughman's as well. Staff were friendly and efficient. We will definitely return.
