Really good unpretentious dining. In the finest traditions of a British café. The food was freshly cooked and the staff were really helpful and welcoming

The guy who owns this badly run excuse for a cafe ran 300 yards down market walk to catch up with me after I had left and accused me of not paying! I explained to him I had paid a member of his staff even b4 I had eaten.he turned away and left not even apologising..ironic thing is weeks earlier I paid for a meal for 2 and only got one@@.verry Rude foreigners these people imo.

Excellent food and service especially the coffee, very reasonable prices as well. And a great people watch venue.

I choose breakfast no3 from the menu. When it arrived it was almost cold. I asked could they put some tomatoes on it. As the cheaper choices 1+2 had tbis option. Like any decent person would. I took my dirty plate n cup back to the counter and asked the man did i owe him anything for the tomatoes. I nearly fell on the floor wen he said 90p. I confronted him over this and he reduced it 50p. Like he was doin me a favour. If i had chosen breakfast no4 which also had tomatoes on it that would of cost me 20pextra. I never did get my toast either. A typical example of how many Vulnerable people are being ripped off in this cafe. I wont be goin back. The food was left alot to desired also. Avoid this cafe at ALL costs.🙏

Went to Chorley Town Cafe for breakfast today and was incredibly impressed.The cafe is extremely clean and the staff are very welcoming and polite.There's ample seating and if you like al fresco dining there's seating outside too (although it's a tad cold for that at the moment I'd say).The menu is extensive and there is a great variety of food to choose from.I ordered a breakfast and a mug of tea and not only was it excellent value for money, it was extremely good too. Well cooked and a good sized portion of mushrooms, beans etc.If I have one niggle, it was that the tea was a bit weak and milky for me, but that is personal taste as I like my tea strong (my own fault for not mentioning when I ordered, just be aware if you prefer your tea strong). All in all, I was seriously impressed by the standard of cleanliness, service, food and value for money.Will definitely go again.

First time in here and omg what amazing food this is my son and me absolutely loved it here and fast service and friendly staff too definitely recommend this place absolutely wonderful we definitely will be going back
