Friday night, got served quickly but the barmaid didn’t know what scotch whisky was!? Or even knew what whisky’s they had. The band they had on were way too close to the punters for the volume and you couldn’t get way from the racket - they weren’t particularly great either I’m afraid. Live acts are always welcome but not on this occasion!

Food looked great Sunday roast , rather disappointed due to not much taste to any of the meats , veg , roasties & gravy .Child's fish gousions great meal .Drinks nice . Young staff ,polite , friendly & welcoming .Put a 3 star as the food needs a lot of attention .Would like to visit again sometime & I'm sure there be improvements, as we have dined many a times before this visit & had lovely food .

Lovely food, nice atmosphere and really friendly staff, make you feel welcome and very helpful with drink recommendations. Will definitely come back when in the area.

Me and my brother's went to this place last year and the food was great , also they had days with entertainment my brother stayed to watch the euro football match sadly England lost we also went to their quiz night and had a good time prices are good to 4 stars for good food ,prices, entertainment and of course best of all they allowed dogs so my dog pippy was with me as we were staying at the Travelodge

Steak was perfectly cooked for me just a shame meal was a little small considering wife's chicken and ceasar salad was huge, still a great meal!
