Dog and Partridge in Chorley

First time visiting today and the food was amazing. Great quality food and really decent portion sizes too. We all had different things from the menu and everyone really enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend!

Lovely little pub - very welcoming and friendly. The food was great, steak and onion pie was packed with chunks of steak and the Dog & Partridge Dirty Dog was amazing. Definitely on our list for a return visit.

Got there at open doors.Ok, here goes... There was a private party going on... The staff were profesional, seating us etc.. Everything tastefully done ( a funeral matter happening across the way)) Nothing maudlin, everybody carrying on as normal. The staff were belting...relaxed,pleasant.. And profesional.... Guys come to The Dog and Partridge for a quality meal...

Went there for my birthday, had a wonderful time. The food was exceptional the staff were great friendly and attentive. I can not recommend it enough the food was truly wonderful. I will return

Sadly our recent visit wasn't a very good one. Unlike the first visit some months ago this time was unfriendly, cold and uninviting. The food was great but the rest no. Bloody freezing outside so for some reason there was no heating on in the restraunt? They have a great log burner which was extinguished people within the building were mostly wearing their jackets? What's all that about. We were provided our starters, but neglected to provide cutlery to eat with and thought it funny when we had to ask. Younger staff just seemed uninterested, in fact I had a more congenial chat with the bar man for 30 seconds it took to pay the bill than with any other member of staff. I won't say it was awful because it wasn't, but it certainly wasn't how I thought the night would be.

Lovely place, went for a family meal there were 8 of us. Our table was ready and waiting, the service was excellent. We had the Christmas menu which had great choices, 2 courses for £19.95 or 3 courses for £26.90, they also cater for vegetarian and gluten free. Plus all the food was brought out together, which is how it should be. Food was brilliant well worth a visit if your looking for a lovely meal out with family or friends.

We visited with our dog after a walk in Yarrow Country Park. The outside space is dog friendly and we sat in a covered booth with a patio heater. The service and food was excellent. There is a car park at the rear and dog water bowls outside.

Great pub, been here a few times the food is always good. The staff are brilliant. Had a burger this time which was really good , I usually have the hot roast beef sandwich which is the best I've had.

We had a blast! Great atmosphere and yummy food. Mostly traditional pub grub style food. Their sweet potato fries are crispy and delicious and I'd definitely recommend the chocolate brownie for those with a sweet tooth! The staff were lovely, kind and helpful. We were also lucky enough to go the evening they had a live musican who was great! Highly recommended!
