Lovely to see this wonderful little Pub thriving again.It's been under a number of managers since we moved to the Village 22 years ago.The Timothy Taylor Landlord was SO good I filled in a CAMRA Tasting Card.Considering I only popped in to use the facilities on my way home from dropping my bike off for a service...So glad I did.

Called in for a quiet drink and were made to feel very welcome. Well priced drinks and a relaxed, cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended. There is a touch screen on the wall as you enter to put your car reg in if you have used the car park.

Excellent food, not had a lamb shank that good for years, and we were really well looked after, really helpful and friendly service

The carpark is controlled parking I would recommend putting your registration number on the screen at the side of the bar first. The staff are very professional and friendly. We tried the toro pie it was very tasty. The meat was very tender. We will be visiting again.

We had a light lunch yesterday and was impressed with the fish finger sandwich. It was quite a large amount so I couldn't finish it all. Three large pieces of fish freshly battered on white bloomer bread and a small d salad. We also had one portion of chips between us. Nice to have an independent pub with good food and lovely staff

I've been here a few times now and absolutely love it, the staff are great and they can't do enough for you, the food is delicious, there's plenty of seating outside and it's undercover, I can't wait to come back, 5 stars from me

Friendly, good value, great food. Been a few times and it never disappoints. The gammon is lovely and the burgers are amazing.

Food is seriously good. Recently had a party here. Catered for approx 15 people. Spot on buffet. Returned a couple of days later for tea. Decided on the tapas. Wow! Cannot fault the food or hospitality. Nice selection of ales. Did I mention the food is excellent.

Great I love this place! Just one comment- need to ask for a top up on your beer otherwise you get half a litre rather than the pint you would expect! Drives my husband mad and annoys me as I have to listen to him( Mr weights and measures)
