Normally we receive a good service .Last night whilst preparing our food the other server started sweeping the floor which I felt was completely inappropriate.I asked him to stop sweeping whilst our meals were being prepared The servers looked at each other with raised eyebrows which made me feel quite awkward, felt i was being a nuisance .He did stop But promptly started to brush the floor again. They should of known bacteria can still transfer from them / or the floor to food relatively easily. I left with only some of the items ordered

Not a patch on my childhood chippy, but that might be tainted by nostalgia I guess. There's something just lacking here from what should be a really simple concept. Good range of food, though, and the staff are nice and the prices are on a par with everywhere else.

·

Excellent quality food. All cooked fresh and you usually don't wait long at all.

·

Only chip shop I've seen where they batter the fish before they fry and batter again when they wrap it up. Pictures available

·

The chips were nice but the fish was dry and hard even the dogs had a job to chew it

·

Very good chippy, good food from friendly staff. Prices are reasonable, and food taste really nice

We can only go when visiting family but worth the travel. Always fresh food as It is very popular.

this chippy used to be terrible but over past couple years got much better but past few months service has dropped terribly waiting for 15 20 mins to get served then another 20 min waiting for food and this all the tym 😔

Ordered a spring roll with my order and was told it would be 10 mins and I said OK. After 15 mins in a cold shop, as the door wedged open, I had to ask what was going on as no-one said anything! After 20 mins I finally got my order. Not very impressive.

Good all round fish and chips the chips can tend to be a little small and crinkly, but besides that the chips when they are chips are good and the fish curry peas etc is all good quality and very clean very polite staff and very efficient! It deserves a 5-star rating I would recommend it to anybody! When I have mentioned before crinkly chips like chicken it was a mistake it should have said like little chicken wings!!
